SANTA PAWS IS COMING TO TOWN (2)

For this Christmas card, I used the Happy Pawlidays stamp set from My Favorite Things.

For the background I wanted to use Distress Oxide Inks. I used two colors: Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch. To add snow, I used the Chinese White paint, from the Vincent van Gogh watercolor set.

I die cut a hill, with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn, from white cardstock.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Dogs: E53 - E55/ E15 - E18/ W0 - W2 - W3 - W5 - W7/ YR21 - YR23/ BG23 - BG18
Hats: R29 - R59/ C0 - C2 - 0
Lights: YR21 - YR23
Sock: YG11 - YG13/ B00 - B12/ RV10 - R83
Tree; YG11 - YG13/ YR21 - YR23/ E15 - E18
Ornaments: R29 - R59/ B00 - B12/ RV10 - R83/ C0 - C3
Presents: R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ B00 - B12/ RV10 - R83

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Lobster Ink and adhered the panel onto a Chili Pepper cardbase. I also added some highlights to some images, using a white gelly roll pen.

 

It's been a while since I last used this set. I just love these cute puppy images!
