HELLO FRIEND, I'M HERE FOR YOU (1)

I finally got to use the new Pumpkin House die set from Lawn Fawn. I combined it with the Let's Go Nuts stamp set.

I started by ink blending the background. I did a simple blend, with Broken China Oxide Ink. For the Simple Grassy Hilssides, I used Crushed Olive and a little Lucky Clover for the edges.

I die cut all the pumpkin elements and colored everything with Copic Markers. Normally I ink blend on colored cardstock, but decided to do something different. Here are all the colors:
Pumpkin house: YR31 - YR21 - YR38 - YR04 - YR07
Stem: YG61 - YG63 - YG67
Leaves: BG93 - BG96
Vines: YG09 - G28
Door: E71 - E74 - E77 - E79
Window: YR31 - YR21 - YR38/ E71 - E74 - E77 - E79
Steps: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5

I stamped the images from Let's Go Nuts and colored them also with Copics. Here is a list of those colors:
Squirrels: E41 - E43 - E44
Leaves: R46 - R59/ YR31 - YR38/ R32 - R35/ YR04 - YR07
Acorns: E74 - E79/ E31 - E35

I fussy cut the images and started to assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added some highlights here and there with a white gel pen.

This Pumpkin House is a nice addition to the Acorn House and Mushroom House we already had. How cute would it be to creat a large card with all three!!!!

HAPPY HOUSEWARMING (3)

I created this new home card with the My Neighborhood die set from My Favorite Things. I wanted to create rainbow colored houses.

For the background I did simple ink blending, using an Altenew stencil. The Halftone Stencil. I ink blended with Jellyfish Ink from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut the houses using Lawn Fawn cardstocks. Here are all the colors: Guava, Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Canned Pumpkin, Sticky Note, Sunflower, Cilantro, Noble Fir, Mermaid, Peacock, Sugarplum and Ballet Slippers. The light purple was a scrap of carsdtock I had, but I don't know from which brand it is.

I assembled the houses and adhered them onto the stenciled background. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto Black Licorice cardstock.

I added highlights to the houses ad a finishing touch.

HELLO FRIEND, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY (1)

There is a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it's all about autumn. Which just happens to be my favorite season. I decided to use the Let's Go Nuts stamp set and Acorn House die set.

For the background I did some simple ink blended, using Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Oxide Inks.

Everyhting for the acorn house and the little sign (from Build-a-Campsite die set) was die cut from Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Kraft, Paperbag, Ground Coffee, Speckled Eggshell and Sticky Note. The inside of the windows was ink blended with the same Oxide Inks as I used for the sky.

For the hill, which was die cut with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders, I used Tea Dye and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Inks. I added white and dark brown watercolor splatters to the hill. I also die cut a grassy hill, using the Simple Grassy Hillside Borders. I ink blended this with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Oxide Inks.

I stamped the images. I used the mushrooms from the Oh Gnome stamp set. Here are all the Copic Markers I used for coloring:
Squirrels: E31 - E33 - E35/
Mushrooms: Y15 - Y17 - YR07/ E41 - E43 - E44
Acorns: E57 - E29/ E41 - E43 - E44

I fussy cut all the iamges and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment onto the hill and the word 'nuts!' onto the sign. I added some highlights with a white gell pen.

BOOYAH (4)

I used an oldie but a goodie from Lawn Fawn: Booyah.

For the background I used some Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper.

I stamped the images and decided to go for Frankenstein, vampire and witch. I colored everything with Copic Markers. Here is a list of the colors I used:
Bow tie + treat bag: R08 - YR04
Bat wings + ears: C3 - C5 - C7/ E04
Witch hat: V12 - V04/ YG63 - YG67/ C0 - C3
Broom: E41 - E43/ E74 - E79
Frankenstein's hair: C0 - C3/ YG63 - YG67

I fussy cut the images, assembled the ghosts and added them to my Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper. I die cut the word 'booyah' from Black Licorice  cardstock, using Oliver's Stitched ABCs die set.

HOPE YOUR HALLOWEEN IS WICKED (1)

I used the Purrfectly Wicked stamp set from Lawn Fawn to create this magical Halloween scene.

For the background I used three Distress Oxide Inks: Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Blueprint Sketch. It took some work to get it right, but it looks amazing.

For the ground I used a piece of Woodgrain cardstock.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors:
Cats: C0 - C2 - C3 - C5/ E04
Mouse: E41 - E43 - E44/ E000 - E00 - E02
Potions: V12 - V04/ B24 - B26/ R08 - YR04/ BG000 - B14/ B60 - B63/ Y15 - Y17/ BG53 - BG57/ E31 - E35
Pot: C3 - C5 - C7
Brew + bubbles: BG53 - BG57
Books: V12 - V04/ B24 - B26/ R08 - YR04/ BG000 - B14/ B60 - B63/ Y15 - Y17/ BG53 - BG57
Stool + shelf + spoon: E31 - E33 - E35/
Broom: E41 - E43 - E44/ E57 - E29
Witch hat: V12 - V04/ B24 - B26

I fussy cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped the first piece of the sentiment and the spider's thread in embossing ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added the magical doodles above the pot. And die cut the word 'wicked' from Peacock cardstock and whtie cardstock. I added those two colors together, to create a drop shadow on the letters and make them more dimensional.

As a finishing touch I added highlights to the images and die cut letters.

For the background, I did some soft and simple ink blending with just one Distress Ink color: Cracked Pistachio. I also added some splatter with the same color.

I stamped the images. It was pretty time consuming, because there is a lot of detail in these images. But it was so worth my time! Here are all the Copic Markers I used for coloring:

I fussy cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added highlights to the images with a white gel pen.

YOU'RE A TREASURE (5)

Today is the start of another new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we have a photo for inspiration. And I immediatley thought of an ocean and underwater scene.

For the background I did some ink smooshing, using four Distress Oxide Ink colors: Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Salty Ocean. I smooshed them onto my glass mat and added water. I put my piece of watercolor cardstock on in and pushed a little.

I used the Slimline Tropical Leaves Border and die cut it from Cilantro and Rainforest cardstock. I also die cut a hill from Kraft cardstock, using the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Treasure: E55 - E57 - E29/ C0 - C3/ Y15 - Y17
Shark: Co - C3 - C5/ E000 - E00
Mermaid: E21 - E25/ C3 - C5 - C7/ YG41 - BG23/ B60 - B63

YOU DID IT! (1)

A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to make a graduation card, for someone who loves sailing and whales. Well, that got my creative brain working and I came up with this card. I used the Smooth Sailing stamp set and the Get Well Before 'n After stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the sky I used a stencil from Tim Holtz, which is one of my favorite stencils ever. I used Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Inks.

I used Mermaid cardstock and die cut it three times with the Stitched Simple Wavy Borders dies. I used all three different types of waves. I ink blended the edges with Broken China Oxide Ink.

From Kraft cardstock I die cut one of the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. This I ink blended with Ground Espresso Distress Ink.

I stamped the images. I also used the banner from Virtual Friends Add-On. Here are all the Copic Markers I used for coloring:
Boats: E57 - E29/ R05 - R27/ Y38 - YR68/ Y15 - Y17/ YG00 - YG03/ B24 - B26
Whale: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5
Graduation cap: B24 - B26
Banner: R05 - R27/ Y38 - YR68/ Y15 - Y17/ YG00 - YG03/ B24 - B26
Lighthouse: R05 - R27/ C0 - C3/ E57 - E29/ Y15 - Y17
Bear: E31 - E35
Bunny: C0 - C3/ R22

I die cut or fussy cut the images and assembled the card. The sentiment is from Jump For Joy. I added some birds in the sky and used a white gell pen to add highlights to the images.
