FRIENDS MAKE EVERYTHING SO MUCH BETTER (1)

For this friendship card, I used the Little Bunny Agenda stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I started by die cutting the panel. I die cut two different sizes of squares, with the Outside In Stitched Square Stackables from Lawn Fawn. The insides I blended. For the smallest square, I took the Drifts & Hills stencil from MFT and blended with Twisted Citron. For the larger square, I used the Cloud stencil from MFT and this one I blended with Salty Ocean.

I stamped one of the bunnies from Little Bunny Agenda and colored it with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bunny: E41 - 0
Clover: YG11 - G21

I fussy cut the images and started to assemble the card. I stamped the sentiment from Ella and Friends in Celery Stick Ink. I adhered the panel onto a Cilantro cardbase.

Still so many cards that I can make with this amazing new Mama Elephant set!!!

HAVE A TOADALLY AWESOME BIRTHDAY (2)

For this birthday card, I used the Toadally Aweseom stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started on the scene. I die cut a piece of watercolor cardstock with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. I ink blended this piece with Mermaid Lagoon ink. For the sky I decided to do something different. I used Picked Raspberry.

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Frogs: YG11 - G21/ Y21 - Y38
Lilly pads: YG07 - G38
Cat tails: YG07 - G28/ E57 - E29
Lillies: RV10 - R83
Dragon flies: B12 - B14/ Y21 - Y38

I fussy cut all the images and assembled the card. I took a speech bubble, from the Speech Bubbles die set, and stamped the sentiment onto it. I ink blended Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey onto the speech bubble.

I stamped the little lines into the water with Merman Ink and Mermaid Ink. I also stamped the dotted flight lines with Manatee Ink.

I adhered the panel onto a Noble Fir cardbase.

I still have so many ideas for this stamp set!!!

HI (1)

I made this colorful bunny card with the Little Bunny Agenda stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I started by die cutting the Grid Window die from a piece of white cardstock. I wanted each of the squares behind the Grid Window to have a different color. I used 12 different Distress Ink colors for this. Here are the inks I used:
Ripe Persimmon, Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch, Twisted Citron, Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade and Lucky Clover.

Wine bottle: R14 - R59/ YG07 - G28

HAPPY EASTER (10)

For this Easter card (probably the last one for this year) I used the new The Bunny's Hop stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I stamped the big bunny stamp onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. I wanted to color the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bunnies: 091 - Light Grey/ 092 - Blue Gray/ 072 - Beige/ 090 - Grey/ 071 - Flesh Colors
Carrots: 070 - Orange/ 045 - Pale Green
Chicks: 052 - Bright Yellow/ 070 - Orange
Accessories: 022 - Carmine Red/ 042 - Turquoise Green/ 081 - Light Violet/ 050 - Yello/ 036 - Light Blue

I cut out the image and adhered it to a piece of Let's Polka in the Meadow pattern paper. The sentiment, from Happy Happy Happy Add-On, is stamped at the top of my card. I added the panel onto a Vanilla Malt cardbase.

I think I love this one even more than the cat version of this stamp!

CRAFTY HAUL (2)

I had my eye one some stencils and stamp sets, so here is what I purchased.

I just love the little agenda series from Mama Elephant. I already have the Little Santa Agenda (haven't used it yet) and now the Little Bunny Agenda. It contains 20 cute mini images of bunnies, holding all sorts of accessoiries. I can't wait to work with this set.

My Favorite Things is my go to brand when it comes to stencils. The Drifts & Hills stencil is an easy way to create hills or waves for a card, with Distress inks and an ink blending tool. And the Basic Shapes - Triangle stencil is perfect to create backgrounds.

Lawn Fawn came out with so many great papers for the 2018 Spring release. I received the Perfectly Plaid Spring paper from Kelly Marie, but I couldn't resist buying the Gotta Have Gingham paper pad myself. Simple patterns, in such beautiful colors.

Mama Elephant has another series I'm crazy about, the big grouped stamps. I already own The Cat's Meow, which was one of my favorites of last year. There are some others, but as a fan of bunnies I needed to have The Bunny's Hop. Sooooo cute!!!

SURPRISE! SO MUCH CAKE, SO LITTLE ROOM (1)

For this birthday card, I used an older stamp set from My Favorite Things. The Beary Special Birthday set.

I wanted to create a blended background, but I didn't want to blend the entire panel. I took some masking tape, and started creating a smaller rectangle. I then took two Distress Ink colors to blend: Wild Honey and Fossilized Amber. For an extra touch, I also used Ripe Persimmon. I took and acrylic block, added a little of the Ripe Persimmon onto it with some water. I then dipped a paint brush in it and splattered some onto the panel.

I set the panel aside to dry and stamped my images. I used two of the bear images and the baloons. I used Copic Markers to color the images. Here are the colors I used:
Bears: E31 - E33/ E57 - E29/ RV10 - R83
Cake: RV10 - R83/ YR61 - YR15/ C2 - C5
Balloons: RV10 - R83/ R22 - R35/ Y00 - Y02
Present: R22 - R35/ Y00 - Y02

I fussy cut the images, stamped the sentiment and assembled the card. I added the panel onto a Sticky Note cardbase. I added some white stripes and dots to some images.

Although it's a very simple card to create, it's very new from my other designs. I'm really happy with this card.

HAPPY EASTER (9)

For this Easter card, I combined the Some Bunny stamp set with the Mini Picture Frames dies from Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting the elements for the frame. I used Guava cardstock for the frame. I die cut it three times. I will add them together, to create some dimension without using foam tape. The inside of the frame I die cut from white cardstock. For the string, that holds up the frame, I used Narwhal cardstock. And for the bow on top, I used Ballet Slippers cardstock.

I stamped the eggs on the inside of the frame. I also stamped one of the bunnies. The paint brush is from the Chirpy Chirp Chirp set. I used Copic Markers to color all the images. Here are the colors I used:
Bunny: C3 - C5/ C0 - C2/ RV10 - R83
Eggs: RV10 - R83/ Y00 - Y02/ YG41 - BG34/ BV00 - BV02
Paint brush: W5 - W7/ C0/ E31 - E33/ YG41 - BG34

I fussy cut the bunny and paint brush images. I took a piece of Gotta Have Gingham patter paper and die cut it with the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I also die cut one from white cardstock. This piece I trimmed, to function as the floor portion of the card. I stamped the sentiment in Ballet Slippers Ink.

I assembled the card and added the panel onto a Guava cardbase, making it larger than the panel. I added some little white dots to the cheeks of the bunny.

I just love pastelle colors!!!

BEST FISHES (6)

For this birthday card I used the Fintastic Friends stamp set together with the Bayou Backdrop die, along with some other Lawn Fawn stamp sets.

I started by die cutting the Bayou Backdrop twice. For one of the die cuts I only used the frame, so I cut off the greenery. I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink on the greenery and then adhered the frame on top of that. For the background I used two Distress Ink colors: Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I took a spray bottle and added some water to it. I dabbed the drops off with a paper towel. I added the Bayou Backdrop on top of the background with foam tape, putting the greenery on the bottom of the panel, so it looks like seeweed.

I stamped some of the fish from Fintastic Friends, the octopus from Octopi My Heart and the school of fish from Mermaid For you. I colored all these images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Octopus: RV10 - R83
Orange fish: Y21 - Y38
Moon fish: Y21 = Y38/ R22 - R35
Aqua colored fish: BG23 - BG49
Grey fish: C3 - C5

I die cut the octopus and fussy cut the rest of the images. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder from Ranger and assembled the card. I adhered the panel onto a Cilantro cardbase. I added some white dots and highlights on the fish and octopus.

A different wat to use the Bayou Backdrop, super fun.

BEST WISHES (3)

I used the Whale Wishes stamp set from Mama Elephant for this birthday card.

I wanted to create an ocean wave scene, so I die cut three wave elements. I used the Stitched Hilside Borders and the Ocean Hillside Pp-Up Add-On dies from Lawn Fawn. I used Distress Inks. For the sky I used Cracked Pistachio and for the waves I used Mermaid Lagoon.

I stamped the sentiment and the images. I didn't have to do any coloring on them. I die cut the images and started assembling the card. I adhered the panel onto a Mermaid cardbase. I stamped some water spatter, in Forget-Me-Not Ink. I also added some white highlights to the waves.

A really simple card, quick as well. I think, I would have used a different color for the sky next time. It's too much of the same now. I do like it though.

HAVE A TOADALLY AWESOME BIRTHDAY (1)

For this birthday card, I combined the Toadally Awesome stamp with the Little Fireflies stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting all the elements I will use for my scene. I used the Meadow Borders, Grassy Border and the Stitched Hillside Borders. I wanted to use Distress Inks for all the scene elements. I used Blueprint Sketch for the sky, Salty Ocean for the pond and Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover for the grass.

I stamped the images from both stamp sets and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Frogs: YG11 - G21/ Y00 - Y02
Fireflies: Y00 - Y02/ BV000 - BV02/ B00 - BG01
Lilly pads: G07 - G28
Car tails: G07 - G28/ E57 - E29
Lillies: RV10 - R83
Flies: B00

For the little shine circles, that go behind the fireflies, I used Sunflower Ink and then covered it with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Clear Gloss embossing powder from Wow. I also heat embossed the sentiment, but with white embossing powder from Ranger.

I fussy cut all the image and assembled the card. I adhered the panel onto a Mermaid cardbase and added some white dots and highlights on some of the elements.

So far, of the new Lawn Fawn release, I used this stamp set the most.

IT'S YOUR DAY (1)

For this card, I used the Rub-a-Dub-Dub stamp set together with the Peekaboo Backdrop die, both from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut the Peekaboo Backdrop from white cardstock. For the background I trimmed a piece of Perfectly Plaid Spring paper. I also trimmed some pieces of Narwhal cardstock, from the inside pieces. These will function as my ground/ floor.

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mama duck: C0 – C2/ YR15
Ducklings: Y00 – Y02/ YR15
Bath tub: YG41 – BG34/ C3 – C5
Bubbles: BG000 – B00
Soap: YT00 – YR61
Bubble bath bottle: C2 – C3/ Y00 – Y02/ YG41 – BG34

I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right square and adhered the panel onto a Sticky Note cardbase. I added a white highlight to the bath tub.

This Peekaboo Backdrop die is already a favorite of mine. You will probably see it a lot more this year!!!

HAPPY EASTER (8)

For this simple Easter card, I used the Lunar Animals set from Mama Elephant.
I took a piece of white cardstock and die cut a scalloped circle from it, using the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables from Lawn Fawn.

The part that will peek out of the scalloped circle, I wanted to ink blend. I used two Distress Ink colors: Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral. I added some water droplets and dabbed them off with a paper towel.

I die cut a piece of grass, with the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn. I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink on this piece.

I stamped the bunny image from the Lunar Animals set and colored it with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bunny: E41 – E43/ RV10 – R83

I die cut the bunny and started to assemble the card. I stamped the sentiment in Peachy Keen ink and adhered the panel onto a Sticky Note cardbase.

This design changed out a couple of times, but I was finally happy with this result!
