I LIKE YOU (A LOTL) (3)

I created this love-themed card with the I Like You (a Lotl) stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink for blending. I added some hearts on top, with Broken China Oxide Ink and the Lots of Hearts Background Stencils. I only used one of the stencils. When the background was dry, I used the Rays Layering stencil from Tim Holtz and Yeti Ink, to add rays coming from the sky shining into the water.

I trimmed a piece of Kraft cardstock and added dark brown splatter to it, using watercolors from Winsor & Newton.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. I also used images from You are Sublime. Here are the colors I used:
Axolotl: R01 - R32
Plants: R46 - R59/ B24 - B26/ B00 - B12
Hearts: R46 - R56
Rocks: W3 - W5 - W7

I die cut of fussy cut the images. I die cut the words 'a lotl' from Pencil Eraser cardstock, using Oliver's Stitched ABCs. I ink blended these letters with Aged Mahogany Oxide Inks.

The first part of the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder, onto a strip of Black Licorice cardstock.

I assembled the card and added highlights with a white gel pen. I'm extremely happy with this card. I just love axolotls.

HOME SWEET HOME (3)

Lawn Fawn is great in creating images that can be used as scene builders. I shopped my own stash to find all the images I needed to create a happy home card. Sets I used: Window Scene: Winter, Virtual Friends Add-On, Screen Time, Keep On Swimming, Purrfectly Wicked, Christmas Dreams, Holiday Helpers and Happy Village.

I wanted a wallpaper, but needed a simple and subtle desing. I found this lined pattern paper, that comes in the Sweater Weather Remix pack. For the floor, as usual, I used Woodgrain cardstock.

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used for this card:
Table: E41 - E43 - E44/ W0 - W3
Shelve: E31 - E35

I die cut and fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped a little speech bubble that comes with the Happy Village stamp set and added the sentiment to it. I added it to the fish.

For someone who moves or just bought her first house. This is one of my favorites I made this year, and the year has only just started.

I matted this background onto a Chili Peppers cardbase.

I die cut the word Hooray with Oliver's Stitched ABCs die set. I used Lawn Fawn cardstocks for thi: Sunflower, Peacock, Chili pepper, Cilantro, Fake Tan and Sugarplum.

I stamped the images. I also used the banner from Virtual Friends Add-On and the hat from party Animal. Here are all the Copic Markers I used:
Fox: E31 - E33 - E35/ E000 - E00
