LET IT SNOW (5)

My first Christmas card for the year! I used the Snow Much Fun stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut a piece of watercolor cardstock with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I softly ink blended the edges of this piece, using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I die cut the snow angel shapes from this piece of cardstock. And used another piece of cardstock to add behind this, where I stamped the snow angels onto. I did this with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink as well, since I don't have a matching dye ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bears: E25 - E29/ E31 - E35/ E000 - E00 - E21
Scarf: R14 - R27

I die cut the images and added everything together. I stamped the sentiment in Lobster Ink and adhered the panel onto a piece of Let It Shine paper. I wanted to have those accents of red, since there is not a lot of variation in color here.

I will also create a Christmas card with the wavy pull tab, so that the bear is actually making the snow angel. So cute!!! So keep an eye out for that!

DEN SWEET DEN (1)

I created a new home card with the Den Sweet Den stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used a piece of pattern paper from the Into the Woods Remix paper pad. I chose the stripes, to make it look like wallpaper. For the floor I used Woodgrain cardstock, the darkest brown color.

I stamped the images. I also used some images from the Christmas Dreams stamp set. I used Copic Markers to color everything. Here are the colors I used:
Bears: E31 - E35/ E000 - E00 - E21
Fireplace: E25 - E29/ W2 - W3 - W5/ W3 - W5 - W7/ YR15 - YR07/ E31 - E35
Books: W0 - W3/ YR15 - YR07/ BG72 - BG18/ YG11 - YG06/ Y08 - Y17
Rug + mug: Y08 - Y17
Lamp: YR15 - YR07/ BG18 - BG72
Painting: E25 - E29/ YG11 - YG06

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I didn't add a sentiment, I wanted to use the sentiment that's in the picture frame as my sentiment. I added highlights and dot with my white gelly roll pen to finish the card.

This set is going to be so much fun. Love it already!

HAPPY HAUNTING (5)

For this Halloween card, I used the Cute Cobweb die set, along with the Bunting Borders die set and Speech Bubbles die set, from Lawn Fawn.

I used a Sugarplum cardbase and ink blended the edges with Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Ink.

I die cut two cobwebs, using Narwhal cardstock. The spiders were die cut from Black Licorice cardstock. I added some white cardstock behind the big one, to bring out the eyes and mouth.

For the banners, I used Narwhal, Cilantro and Sparkle cardstocks. I used Fake Tan cardstock for the speech bubble. I ink blended this with Candied Apple Distress Ink. The green banners were ink blended with Lucky Clover Distress Ink.

I added the sentiment and adhered everything onto the cardbase. I used a white gelly roll to add highlights. I also used it to create a dotted background.

A very simple card, but I loved making it.

BOOYAH (3)

This is the first time using the Shutter Card die. I have to tell you it was trial and error for me. A few attempts before I got it right. It looks a lot easier when other people do it, that's for sure, haha.

I created a Halloween card, using the Pick of the Patch stamp set and Booyah stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I die cut the Shutter Card elements. I ink blended the sky with Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey Distress Inks. I used the Grassy stencil and Crushed Olive Distress Ink to add a grass border to the bottom of the scene.

I stamped the sentiment and also all the images I wanted to used. I colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:
Pumpkins: Y38 - YR68/ Y21 - Y26/ BG93 - BG96/ E25 - E29
Squirrels: E31 - E35
Spoon: C0 - C2 - C5
Pumpkin guts: BG93 - BG96/ Y21 - Y26

I assembled the card and added al my images. For the outside, I used Chili Pepper cardstock and some Into the Woods Remix paper. I added the 'wrapper' for the outside of the card. I used Paper Bag cardstock for this, Knock On Wood paper and added another ghost. I closed the card and added the wrapper.

It was a lot of work and normally, when it comes to interactive cards, I don't really enjoy making them when it is this much work. I'm not sre yet what I think of the Shutter Card die.

Today I'm on the Lawn Fawn blog with this Halloween card. I used the Fox Costumes Before 'n After stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I wanted to create a storybook type card, so I used the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait die. I die cut it from black glitter cardstock. I don't use it often on cards, especially not in such a big amount. But I wanted to do something different for once.

For the background, I ink blended with Oxide Inks. I wanted each 'box' to be a different color. Two I ink ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Oxide Ink, one with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Oxide Ink and the last with Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord Oxide Inks.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Foxes: E31 - E35/ E000 - E02/ E04
Birds: R35 - R39/ Y38 - YR68
Cupcake + donut costume: B63 - B66/ YG00 - YG03/ E25 - E29/ Y08 - Y17/ R35 - R39
Pumpkins costumeL Y38 - YR68/ YG00 - YG03
Bee costume: W5 - W7/ Y08 - Y17/ B63 - B66
Witch costume: E31 - E35/ E25 - E29/ W5 - W7/ YG00 - YG03
Bat costumeL W5 - W7
Treat bags: Y38 - YR68
Candy: B63 - B66/ Y08 - Y17/ Y38 - YR68/ YG00 - YG03

I die cut all the images and assembled the card.

I die cut a banner from Watercolor Wishes paper. Istamped the sentiment onto it and added it to my card. I used a white gelly roll pen to add highlights to the images.

The cob web was die cut from Fog cardstock.

HOPE YOUR DAY IS SPOOKTACULAR! (1)

For this slimline Halloween card, I used the Fox Costumes Before 'n After stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I also used some images from Joy to the Woods and Pick of the Patch.

I also used the Clouds stencil from My Favorite Things. I added some splatter to the moon using Iced Spruce Distress Ink and silver watercolor.

For the hill, I used the Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders. I ink blended this with Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

I'm not going to use it as a Halloween card, but as a birthday card for my brother.

LOVE YA (1)

I created a pull tab card, using the new Snow Much Fun stamp set and the Waving Pull Tab Starter Set from Lawn Fawn.

It's a Christmas set, but since it's too early (at least for me) to create Christmas or winter themed cards, I made it a fall card. I ink blended the background with Fossilized Amber and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks.

I stamped the images, also used the Jump for Joy stamp set, and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bears: E25 - E29/ Y21 - Y26
Leaves: R35 - R39/ Y08 - Y17/ Y21 - Y26/ Y38 - YR68
Scarf: G43 - G46

I die cut all the images. I created the pull tab elements. I used Chili Pepper and No. 2 Pencil cardstock for this.

I assembled the card. Now when you pull the tab, the arms of the big bear move up and down. Too cute!

To finish the card I stamped the sentiment with Cranberry Ink and added white highlighst and dots with a gelly roll pen.
