I've been having a lot of fun with the "I Love You S'More" stamp set from Lawn Fawn. For this card I decided to just use the little bird.

By repeatedly stamping the bird and changing the position of the stamp, I created my own pattern paper. I did that with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I than colored the birds in with copic markers.

Here are the colors I used:
Y02, Y06, Y08 - R22, R35, R46 - YG03, G07, G14 - BG49, BG7
I thought it needed a bit more, so I also used one of the swirly lines from the stamp set. I stamped with the Lawn Fawn Mermaid ink. I think it looks much better and those dotted swilty lines add something extra to it.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink, a clear sticky ink, and then I heat embossed it with some Wow Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I did this on some craft cardstock. At the bottom of the card I used a pattern paper from the 6x6 paper pad from Shimelle (true stories) by American Crafts.
After I assembled the front panel, I adhered it to the same craft cardstock as I used to stamp the sentiment on. As a finishing touch a rounded of the two bottom corners with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper A fun card for a lot of different occasions.

Hello there and welcome to my blog. My name is Joyce Heinen and I'm a creative mind. I've been a movie blogger for quite some time now, but I also needed a place to talk about my creative projects. I shared my crafty work on Facebook and Instagram already, but I wanted to do more. On the "Joyful Things Design" blog you can see my crafty projects and the techniques and supplies I use. Hope you stop by again so I can inspire and create.
