I love the storybook style, I haven't done that in a while. Happy with it!

I assembled the card and added an extra sentiment. This is one of my favorite sentiments ever!

I'm pretty happy with this card. I still need to practice a bit more with this Magic Picture Changer die.

HAPPY EASTER (11)

For this Easter card, I used the Magic Picture Changer die for the first time. I also used the Magic Picture Changer Add-On and the Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set. All products are from Lawn Fawn.

I started by stamping the before and after images. I wanted a bunny that would start jumping and throwing Easter eggs. I also stamped a couple of images that will go outside the picture changer frame. I colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bunnies: E41 - E43/ RV10 - R83
Easter eggs: YR21 - Y38/ V01 - V12
Background: YG11 - YG13/ B00 - B12
Chicks: YR21 - Y38/ Y11 - Y02

I die cut the images that I will add later and I also die cut the before and after images, with the Magic Picture Changer die.

For the front of the panel, as decoration, I used the Magic Picture Changer Add-On. I took some Spiffy Speckles paper. For the tab I used Sticky Note cardstock and Fake Tan cardstock.

I assembled the Magic Picture Changer and added my images as well. The sentiment I wanted in a speech bubble. I took one from the Open Me stamp set and added that to my picture changer as well.

I adhered the entire Magic Picture Changer onto a piece of Perfectly Plaid Spring paper. I adhered this all to a Fake Tan cardbase.

It's a bit tricky at first, but I think if I do this a couple of times it will get easier. It is fun to make though!

My favorite time of the year has arrived to create cards: Easter!!! I love creating Easter and spring themed cards to send ou to my friends and family. The first of the year I made with Lawn Fawn's newest Easter set, Eggstra Amazing Easter.

CRAFTY HAUL (31)

The new spring release by Lawn Fawn will go live on February 21st. But Lawn Fawn already send me a bunch of stuff from the newest release. As always, they were wat too generous, but it put a big fat smile on my face. Here is what I got:

Their newest interactive die, the Magic Picture Changer, looks like a bunch of fun. I already watched the introduction video and I can't wait to start creating cards.

The die can work with practically every stamp set, but some sets were designed especially for this die set. Like the Get Well Before 'n After stamp set. For instance, you can have the sick whale. And when the picture changes, the whale is all better. That's so super cute.

The Open Me stamp set is perfect to make people excited even more for your cards. You can add them to flaps or on the front of your card. But this set is also great for envelopes.

I love creating (and sending out) cards for Easter. So this set was already on my wish list. It's the Eggstra Amaing Easter stamp set. It has so many great Easter images and I just love bunnies, so this is perfection.

I also got the cool die set called Mini Easter Eggs. It cie cuts little Easter eggs with different patterns. Great to cut from colored cardstock, use watercolor, Distress inks or even pattern paper. Super awesome!!!

I can't wait to start crafting with these.

EVERY BUNNY NEEDS A FRIEND LIKE YOU (3)

Another new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. The theme: "What's the Weather". It was a pretty though one, I don't have a lot of weather themed stamps or dies. So I decided to think a little outside the box and I combined the Some Bunny stamp set with Plus One and Upon a Star.

For the scene, I used the Grassy Hillside Borders and the Simpe Grassy Hillside Borders. I ink blended the sky with Salty Ocean Distress Ink and the grass with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.

I went ahead and stamp the sentiment in advance.

I stamped the images and used Copic Markers for coloring. Here are the colors I used:
Bunnies: W0 - W3/ R01
Umbrella: R17 - R29/ Y11 - Y08/ W0 - W3
Plant box: E71 - E77/ E35 - E33
Carrots: G43 - G46/ YR04 - YR07
Rain drops: B00 - B12

I fussy cut all the images and assembled the card. I added the panel onto a Fake Tan cardbase and some highlights to the umbrella with a white gelly roll pen.

Please make sute you check the awesome challgenge on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog and maybe you can join us!!!
