SEASON'S GREETINGS (10)

I did some watercoloring for this Christmas card. I used the Front Porch die set from Hero Arts.

I used Winsor & Newton watercolors to color all the elements of the die cut.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, from the Home for the Holidays stamp set from Hero Arts.

I always love coloring this scene.

SEASON'S GREETINGS (9)

For this Christmas town, I used the Tiny Winter Friends stamp set, combined with Village Shops, Winter Village, Tiny Christmas and Coaster Critters. All from Lawn Fawn.

I used only one layer for the background. I masked of the top and ink blended the sky with Faded Jeans and Speckled Egg.

I used the Small Brick Wall stencil from MFT to create a "street" or "pavement" and ink blended with Jellyfish Ink, for a lighter and subtle look.

I stamped all the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here is a list of the colors I used on this card:

I really love the scene, a lot going on here. Pretty time consuming, but I love this type of card the most. Probably will do a slimline version of this as well.

PEACE, JOY & ALL THINGS MERRY (1)

For this Christmas card, I used the Gingerbread Friends die set from Lawn Fawn.

I used the Plaid Stencils for the background. Instead of using them in both directions, I only used them one way. To create a striped background instead of plaid. I used Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks for the red stripes and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress inks for the green stripes.

I die cut the gingerbread friends from Kraft and Paperbag cardstock. All the accessories were die cut from Chili Pepper, Cilantro and Sparkle cardstock. For the eyes and mouths I layered a piece of Black Licorice cardstock behint their heads.

I adhered the gingerbread friends to the background. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a banner, which was die cut with the Fancy Folded Banner die set. I used Cilantro cardstock for this as well.

As a finishing touch, I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the buttons and bow.
