YOU'RE THE SWEETEST (4)

Anothr ice cream card, this time using the Sweet Ice Cream set from Waffle Flower. I love these mice images and Waffle Flower had more stamp sets featuring them. Do that's something I will get eventually! But for now, I created a love/ friendship card with Sweet Ice Cream.

For the background, I used the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Background from Lawn Fawn. I layered over a Peacock cardbase, so the truquoise color shows through the little dots.

I stamped a banner, using Bannertastic. I used Merman and Peacock Ink and a sentiment from Sweet Friends.

I stamped two of the mice and one of the ice cream cones. I colored these images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mice: C0 - C2/ R01 - YR00
Clothes: R22 - R35/ BG15 - BG18
Ice cream: E55 - E57/ Y00 - Y06/ R01 - YR00

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I added some dots and highlights to the images, using a white gelly roll pen.

I'm not done with the ice cream theme, you bet I will make more of them!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (32)

One of my most used die sets this year is I Scream, You Scream from Lawn Fawn. I created this sweet birthday card with this set.

I started on the background. I wanted to create a watercolor background. I used two Distress Ink colors for this: Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick. I used a wide brush for the broad brush strokes and a smaller brush for the thinner strokes. This was literally done within a minute.

I die cut all the ice cream elements. I used Lawn Fawn cardstocks for this. The colors I used were: Sunflower, Sticky Note, Paper bag, Raspberry and Ballet Slippers. I also die cut a heart three times, with the Hearts die set, from Guava cardstock. From white cardstock I die cut a frame, with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames.

I wanted to ink blend on all the elements, for some extra dimension. The Distress Inks I used were: Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, Candied Apple, Walnut Stain and Worn Lipstick.

I assembled the card and stamped the sentiment. I adhered the panel onto a ballet Slippers cardbase and added some hightlights with a white gelly roll pen.

I love creating these ice cream cards!!! More to come!

THANK YOU FRIEND (1)

For this Rainbow colord thank you card, I used the Sohcahtoa stamp set from Altenew.

I only used the largest outlined triangle for this card. I stamped it, filling the entire panel. I watercolor the triangles with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the colors I used:

020 - Red/ 070 - Orange/ 050 - Yellow/ 052 - Bright Yellow/ 045 - Pale Green/ 041 - Light Green/ 036 - Light Blue/ 031 - Cobalt Blue/ 080 - Violet/ 025 - Pink

I die cut the word friend from Black Licorice cardstock, using the Words For Friends dies. I stamped and heat embossed the rest of the sentiment, using white embossing powder from Ranger.

I assembled the card and added the panel onto a Sticky Note cardbase.

As a finishing touch I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops onto the card. Here are the colors I used:
Red Berry, Ripened Pumpkin, Dandelion Yellow, Apple Green and Caribbean Ocean.

I enjoyed creating this card and I love the look of all those Rainbow colored triangles!

HOPE YOU HAVE AN AWESOME DAY! (2)

For this simple birthday card, I used the Critter Concert stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the front panel, I trimmed two pieces of white cardstock. I embossed stitched lines on both pieces, with the Stitched Borders dies, from Lawn Fawn.

In between the two pieces of white cardstock, I wanted a bright pop of color. I decided to use Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink. I ink blended it onto the paper and then added some water to it. I dabbed the drops off with a paper towel.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: Racoon: W5 - W7/ W0 - W3 - 0
Bird: R22 - R35/ Y17 - YR15
Bear: E53 - E55/ E57 - E29
Owl: W0 - W3/ W5 - W7/ YR07 - YR15

Instruments: YR21 - YR23/ R22 - R35/ E53 - E55
Batton: E57 - E29/ Y11 - Y06
Butterfly: Y17 - Y08

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Wild Rose Ink. Because I made a smudge towards the bottom of the card, I decided to add a butterfly. I stamped the swirly line in Hippo Ink and stamped the butterfly (from Chirpy Chirp Chirp). I colored the butterfly with Copic Markers: Y17 - Y08

I added some white dots and highloghts, with a gelly roll pen. I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.

HEY LITTLE PAINTER (1)

I created this fun and colorful card with the Little Painters stamp set from Waffle Flower.

For the background I wanted to keep it simple. I used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink and started blending in the middle of the paper, going outwards. I used a very light hand, so it wouldn't darken to much. I addded water drops first and dabbed them off with a paper towel. I also splattered some Twisted Citron in onto the panel.

I stamped the images and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Brushes + paint tubes: 060 - Brown/ 090 - Grey/ 091 - Light Grey/ 020 - Red/ 036 - Light Blue/ 041 - Light Green/ 070 - Orange/ 050 - Yellow/ 025 - Pink/ 080 - Violet
Owl: 072 - Beige/ 062 - Dark Brown/ 050 - Yellow
Mouse: 090 - Dark Grey/ 026 - Light Pink
Duck: )50 - Yellow/ 070 - Orange/ 026 - Light Pink

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Fake Tan Ink. I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.

I think I will give this card to my best friend's daughter, when she goes to school for the first time. She is a really creative kid and loves to paint and color. So this is a perect card for her.

I started on the background. I used Distress Oxide Ink for this. I used the colors Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac. I saw Nichol Spohr using this combo a couple of times and I loved it. And it totally works on this card too. For the little sand bank, which I die cut with the Simple Stitched Hilside Borders, I used Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Scuba diver: E55 - E57/ BG15 - BG18/ YR15 - YR07/ W5 - W7/ W0 - W3

HOPE YOU HAVE AND AWESOME DAY!

For this birthday card I combined the Love Letters stamp set with the Bunting Borders die.

This is the first time using the Bunting Borders die set. I started by die cutting the base twice, with Black Licorice cardstock. For the individual flags, I used all Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Sunflower, Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Sugarplum, Ballet Slippers, Mermaid and Cilantro.

I adhered the flags onto the flag border and set them aside to dry properly.

I stamped the two birds from Love Letters and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Blue bird: B00 - B12
Red bird: R14 - R46

I fussy cut the birds and started assembling the card. I added the flag borders to the background and then added the two birds. I stamped the sentiment in Lobster Ink.
