MERRY CHRISTMAS (15)

For this Christmas card, I used the Happy Llamadays stamp set from My Favorite Things.

For the background I wanted to create a plaid. I took a Chili Pepper cardbase, the Gingham Backdrops stamp set from Lawn Fawn and Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Toward the bottom of the cardbase, I added a piece of white cardstock and a thin strip of Black Licorice cardstock.

I stamped three of the llama images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Llamas: E31 - E35/ E000 - E11/ W5 - W7
Blankets: R29 - R59/ W3 - W5
Presents: R29 - R59/ YG06 - G07 - G17/ R22 - R35
Sock: R22 - R35
Tree: G43 - G45/ Y38

I fussy cut the images. i die cut some Sparkel cardstock in the color gold, with the Merry Script die from Mama Elephant. I also stamped and heat embossed a part of the sentiment onto a Black Licorice strip of cardstock and used white embossing powder from Ranger.

I love these llamas, they are an absolute favorite this year!!!

CHRISTMAS TAGS (7)

Today's project is part of Tracy McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. All the big stamping companies are a part of it. Every day spotlights one company and the tags their design team has made. And today is for Lawn Fawn and Lawn Fawnatics. I created three cute tags with the Gingerbread Friends die set.

I started by die cutting the smallest gingerbread man six times, two for each tag. I used Kraft cardstock for this. I also die cut a different face for each gingerbread friend.

For the other elements I used all Lawn Fawn cardstocks. I used Mermaid cardstock, Guava cardstock, Cilantro cardstock, Ballet Slippers cardstock and Sparkle cardstock.

I stamped a sentiment onto the back of each gingerbread friend, using the Say What? Christmas Critters stamp set. The 'to' and 'from' are from the Tiny Tag Sayings stamp set.

I used some Lawn Trimmings and adhered them to the back of the tag. I then adhered the back piece of the tag onto the front, so the twine is 'sandwiched' between the front and the back piece of the tag. I tied a knot at the top of the twine.

They are really simple to create and they will make for a great tag on your Christmas presents!

Make sure you check 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018 on their blog and see what the Lawn Fawn and Lawn Fawnatics design teams created. And all the other comppanies off course!!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS (7)

For the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, we had to create shaped cards. I just got these Outside In Stitched Christmas Tree Stackables dies from Lawn Fawn and they make for a perfect shaped card.

I die cut the largest tree from Cilantro cardstock and Vanilla Malt. The last is going to be my cardbase. I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn cardstock for all the elements (I also used the Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On dies). Here are the cardstocks I used: Ballet Slippers, Sticky Note, Chocolate Bar, Paper Bag, Sparkle.

I added all the elements to the tree.

I also needed a sentiment, so I stamped a banner from Bannertastic and colored it with R83 and R81. I stamped the sentiment from Thanks a Latte. I adhered it to the tree with foam tape.

For the little gingerbread man, I added some white lines with a gelly roll pen. I also added Nuvo Crystal Drops in the colors Apple Green and Gloss White.

WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR (2)

I created this simple holiday card with the Critter Concert stamp set.

For the background, I used Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink for blending. Only towards the top of the card. I took the Starry Sky Vertical stencil from My Favorite Things and added start to the background, using Yeti Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bear: E71 - E77/ E11 - E21/ YR21 - YR23
Owl: W0 - W3/ W5 - W7/ Y38 - YR16/ YR21 - YR23/ E08 - E18
Raccoon: W5 - W7/ W0 - W3 - W5/ W0 - 0/ YR21 - YR23
Fox: E08 - E18/ E11 - E000/ YR21 - YR23
BIrd: R22 - R35/ YR23

I fussy cut the images and adhered them the to the background. I stamped the sentiment and added some shadows underneath the critters using C0 and C2 Copic Markers.

This card was so simple to create. Without the coloring of the images, this is done within 15 minutes.

FLEECE NAVIDAD (1)

For this Christmas card, I used the Happy Llamadays stamp set from My Favorite Things.

For the background I wanted to do something different. I took a Kraft cardbase and one of the border dies from the Kingdom Trio dies set from mama Elephant. I die cut it from a piece of cardstock and used it as a mask/ stencil. I used Yeti ink for blending and created some snowy mountains for the background.

I also die cut a snowy hill with the Stitched Hillside Borders and some white cardstock.

I stamped three of the llama images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Llamas: E31 - E35/ E71 - E77/ E11 - E21/ E000 - E21/ W5 - W7
Blankets: R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ B18 - B39
Tree; YG11 - YG13/ E71 - E77
Lights: Y06 - Y11/ B12 - B14/ R29 - R59
Sock: B18 - B39/ C0 - C3 - 0
Presents: Y06 - Y11/ B12 - B14/ R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13

I fussy cut all the images and assembled the card.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, using Gold embossing powder from Ranger. I also added some highlights, dots and detail to the images with a white gelly roll pen.

A little secret: the bag with the bow on it wasn't the initial plan. I messed up while I was adhering things down. I was left with a tear in the paper, so I added the bad image. No one will ever know...

WISHING YOU LOTS OF SMILES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON (3)

I love thinking outside the box sometimes. So this idea to use the frogs from the Toadally Awesome stamp set for a Christmas card just popped in my head all of a sudden. And I love how it turned out. I also used a bunch of other Lawn Fawn products.

For the background, I wanted to create a simple ink blended background. I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks. Also a little Chipped Sapphire, but very softly. I didn't want the sky to be too dark.

For the pond, I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders dies and I ink blended this with the Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink.

I stamped the images. I also used images from Toboggan Together, Cheery Christmas and Critters in the Forest. I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Frogs: YG11 - YG13/ Y11 - Y06
Tree: G43 - G46/ E31 - E35
Birg: BG15 - BG18/ Y06
Lilly pad: G43 - G46
Cat tails: G07 - G28/ E31 - E35
Santa hats: R29 - R59/ Co - C3 - 0
Toboggan: E31 - E35
Lights: Y06 - Y11/ R29 - R59/ BG15 - BG18

The ladder was stamped in Doe Ink.

I fussy cut the images, assembled the card and stamped the sentiment from Merry Messages.

As a finishing touch I added some highlights and dots to the images using a white gelly roll pen.

For the ground I used a piece of Gotta Have Gingham paper and a small strip of Black Licorice cardstock.

For the part peeking through the 'window', I used Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. With water added that I dabbed off with a paper towel.

OH WHAT FUN! (MERRY CHRISTMAS) (1)

I created this fun Christmas card with the Oh What Fun stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used Distress Oxide Inks: Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac. I added water to it and dabbed off the drops with a paper towel.

I used the Stitched Hillside Borders from white cardstock and wanted some houses behind it. I used the Little Town Border die. I die cut it twice, once from Black Licorice cardstock and once from Narwhal cardstock.

I stamped the images. The deer is from Toboggan Together. The string is stamped with Doe Ink. The images were colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bear: E31 - E35/ R29 - R59/ C0 - C3 - 0
