CHIRPY CHIRP CHIRP, TRANSLATION: HAPPY EASTER! (7)

Yes, time for a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. And the theme is "Case Yourself". Look at your older cards or other crafty projects and use it as inspiration to create a new one. I took an old Easter card that I made with Chirpy Chirp Chirp, in 2017. Check the Original post HERE to see which card I used as inspiration.

I used Chirpy Chirp Chirp again for this card and kept the design pretty much the same. I only added more images, more detail and depth.

For the sky, I took the Clouds stencil from MFT and I ink blended it with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. For the grass, I took the Simple Grassy Hillsides. I die cut two hills from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended them with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.

I stamped the sentiment. I used Carrot Ink and Hippo Ink. I think in my original card, I did the same.

I stamped the images and used Copic Markers to color it all. Here are the colors I used:
Chicks: Y00 - Y02 - Y06/ YR21 - Y38
Eggs: YR21 - Y38/ R22 - R35/ B91 - B95/ V01 - V12
Paint buckets: C0 - C3/ R22 - R35/ B91 - B95
Paint brushes: C0 - C3/ E15 - E18/ E53 - E55/ R22 - R35/ B91 - B95
Butterflies: B91 - B95/ V01 - V12
Basket: E53 - E55 - E57
Bunny ears: RV10 - R83/ E53 - E55 - E57

I fussy cut all the images and assembled the card. I added some highlights to the Easter eggs, with a white gelly roll pen. I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.

Please make sure you check out our challenge on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog and be inspired. And maybe you can join us!!!

YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS (1)

Making sympathy cards is pretty hard to do. You don't want to make the too depressing, but also not too cheery. The Butterfly Kisses stamp set from Lawn Fawn is a great set for making sympathy cards. I created this sympathy card with the set.

For the sky, I used the Rays stencil from Tim Holtz. I first blended some Sqeezed Lemonade Distress Ink without the stencil and then applied the ink with the stencil. I also added some Mustard Seed Distress Ink onto the background with the stencil.

I die cut some grass, using the Grassy Border die and the Simple Grassy Hillsides die set. I used Cilantro cardstock and ink blended the edges with Lucky Clover Distress Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. I also used the flower image from Gleeful Gardens. Here are the colors I used:
Bunny: C0 - C3/ RV10 - R83
Bear: E41 - E43/ RV10 - R83
Clouds: C0 - 0
Flowers: B00 - B12/ Y02 - Y05/ YG13 - G07
Butterflies: RV10 - R83/ V01 - V12/ YR21 - Y38/ R22 - R35

I fussy cut the images. I stamped the sentiment onto the background using Soot Ink. I also stamped the swirly line with the heart, using Manatee Ink.

I assembled the card and added some glitter to the butterflies, using the Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir.

I always hope I don't have to send these cards, but I always want to have them on hand.

LET'S TACO 'BOUT YOUR BIRTHDAY (1)

For this fun fiësta, I used the new Year Nine mini stamp set and the Bunting Borders die set from Lawn Fawn.

I did some simple ink blending on the background, using Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink. I also splattered some of it onto the background, using some water and a paintbrush.

I die cut the banners. The base from Black Licorice cardstock. The little flags from Peaock cardstock, Sunflower cardstock, Guava cardstock and Fake Tan cardstock.

I wanted to create a little bit more dimension to the flags, so I ink blended them with respectively Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink, Wild Honey Distress Ink, Abandoned Coral Distress Ink and Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Taco: E55 - E57/ E41 - E43/ E47 - E29/ YG13 - G07/ R17 - R46/ YR21 - Y38 - YR07

GET WHALE SOON (1)

I created a Magic Picture Changer card, using the Get Well Before 'N After stamp set from Lawn Fawn. This stamp set was made to work with the Magic Picture Changer, but can also be used on its own.

For the background and the Magic Picture Changer elements, I wanted to create a stenciled background. I used the Clouds stencil from My Favorite Things, flipping it around and using it as waves. I used Salty Ocean Distress ink for blending. After stenciling, I also used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, to mute the color.

I stamped the images and ink blended these background the same way, masking off all the images. I also stamped some seperate fish. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Whale: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5/ W5 W7/ R17 - R46/ B00 - 0
Fish: YR21 - Y38/ Y38 - YR07
Water drops: B00 - B12

I stamped a banner from Bannertastic and used Lobster Ink and Cranberry Ink for this. I stamped the sentiment inside.

I fussy cut the banner and the fish and started to assemble the card. For some additional elements on the Magic Picture Changer, I used some Blue Jay cardstock and Chili Pepper cardstock.

I added the panel onto a Chili Pepper cardbase.

This is a super fun interactive card, been havin a lot of fun with this.

I die cut the palm trees from Paper Bag cardstock and Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended with Ground Espresso Distress Ink and Lucky Clover Distress Ink. For the grass I also used Cilantro cardstock and Lucky Clover Distress Ink. For the sky, I used Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.

REVEAL WHEEL (15)

I created an Easter themed Reveal Wheel, using the Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting all the reveal wheel elements. I also die cut two grassy hills, uwing the Simple Grassy Hillsides dies and the Grassy Hillside Borders die set. I die cut those from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended the tops with Lucky Clover Distress ink. For the sky, I used the Clouds stencil from MFT and used Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink for blending.

For the sentiment, I used the new Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments stamp set.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Basket: C0 - C2 - C3/ Y11 - Y06
Bow: YR21 - Y38 ,br /> Bunnies; E41 - E43/ R10 - R83
Eggs: V01 - V12 - V04/ B00 - B12/ YR21 - Y38/ R22 - R35/ YG11 - YG13
Chick: YR21 - Y38/ Y06 - Y11
Chocolate bunny: E55 - E57

I die cut all the images using my Cuttlebug. I assembled the reveal wheel and my card. I added the panel onto a piece of Spiffy Speckles paper.

I first added a stamped Arrow, but it looked terrible, so I die cut an Arrow from Fake Tan cardstock. It doesn't cover up the stamped Arrow completely, so it created a little balck border. It's a solution, but I'm not completely happy with it. But I didn't want to start over...
