HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS (6)

Avery Elle came out with this really fun and cute stamp set: A Merry Little Christmas. I just love these Christmas animals. I created this simple Christmas card with the set.

I started on the background. I first stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, using Gold embossing powder from Ranger. I hardly ever use gold on cards.

For the sky, I used two Distress Oxide inks: Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade. I also die cut a snowy hill, using the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders die from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped all animals but the deer. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bear: W0 - W3 - 0/ YG61 - YG63/ YR21 - Y38/ E71 - E77/ R22 - R35/ BG15 - BG18/ B18 - B39
Owl: E53 - E55/ E18 - E15/ Y38/ YR21 - Y38/ B18 - B39/ R22 - R35/ BG15 - BG18
Hedgehog: E71 - E77/ E000 - E11/ R22 - R35/ BG15 - BG18/ B18 - B39
Mice: W3 - W5/ R22 - R35/ YR21 - Y38

I fussy cut the images and adhered everything together.

I really love this clean and simple look for my cards. So many ways to use this style!
