HAPPY BIRTHDAY (42)

I created a pirate themed birthday card, with the Ahoy, Matey stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the scene, I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape die. I die cut it from watercolor cardstock and ink blended it. The hills were ink blended with Scattered Straw and Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks. For the sky I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink, together with the Clouds stencil from My Favorite Things.

I also die cut some Stitched Simple Wavy Borders, from Moonstone cardstock. I ink blended them with Salty Ocean Distress Ink as well.

I took the Palm Trees die set and die cut two of the trees with Kraft cardstock and Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended the tree trunks with Groudn Espresso Distress Ink and the leaves with Lucky Clover Distress Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Pirates: E00 - E11/ E74 - E79/ YR21 - Y38/ R14 - R46 - R59/ W5 - W7/ B00 - B12/ YR04 - YR07
Ship: E71 - E74 - E79/ E31 - E35/ E08 - E18/ R17 - R46 - R59/ B00 - B12/ YR04 - YR07/ W0 - W3
Mountains: W2 - W5 - W7
Parrot: YR21 - Y38/ YG41 - G02
Treasure chest: E08 - E18/ C3 - C5
Coins: C0 - C3/ YR21 - Y38
Diamonds; YG41 - G02
Grass: YG11 - YG13
Map: C0 - C3

I fussy cut the images. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the sandy hill, using white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. I assembled the card and adhered the panel onto a Raspberry cardstock.
