HAPPY BIRTHDAY (27)

For this birthday card, I used the Up in the Air stamp set from My Favorite Things and some of their stencils.

I started on the background. I wanted to use Distress Inks and some of the MFT stencils. I started with the Drifts & Hills stencil. I wanted to create two hills. I used Twisted Citron for this. For the sky, I took the Clouds stencil and used two pink Distress Inks: Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Elephant: W2 - W3 - W5/ RV10 - R83
Trees: YG61 - YG63
Houses: YR30 - YR31/ R22 - R35
Bushes: YG63 - YG67
Balloon: YG41 - G02/ R22 - R35/ YR30 - YR31
Basket: E57 - E29

I die cut all the images with my Cuttlebug and started assembling the card. I stamped the sentiment in Hippo Ink and added the panel onto a Guava cardbase.

I'm really happy with the blended background, something different from a plain blue sky.
