For this holiday themed card, I used the Home for the Holidays stamp set from Hero Arts.
I started on the background. For the floor, I used Groung Espresso and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I was very heavy handed, because I wanted a bold brown color for the floor. For the wall I used Distress Oxide Inks. I used Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick. For this I used a lighter hand.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Stairs: R14 - R46 - R59/ E71 - E74 - E79
Tree: G46 - G46/ R14 - R46/ YR21 - Y38/ Y00 - Y02 - Y06/ BG01 - B14
Present: YR21 - Y38/ R14 - R46/ E31 - E35
Dog: E31 - E33 - E35/ E79
Mouse: W0 - W2 - W5/ R46/ R01
Hat: R14 - R46
Chair: E71 - E74 - E79/ BG01 - B14/ R14 - R46/ G43 - G46/ E31 - E35
Cat: C0 - C3
Clock: E74 - E79/ E31 - E33 - E35/ W0 - YR21 - Y38
I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, using gold embossing powder from Ranger.
I added some highlights and dots here and there, with my white gelly roll pen.
That's a super cozy holiday scene!
