I used the Snow Globe Bitties stamp set from Mama Elephant for this Christmas card.
For the background, I used the Grid Window die from Mama Elephant. I die cut it from watercolor cardstock, but wanted all the little squares to stay in. I taped them on the back, so they wouldn't fall out. I ink blended the panel with Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron Distess Oxide Ink. I also added some splatter using Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.
I stamped three snow globes and added something different in each on of them. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Snow globes: W0 - W2 - 0/ BG000 - B00 - B12/ Y15 - Y17/ E15 - E18
Tree: YG11 - YG13/ Y15 - Y17
Tin soldier: R14 - R46 - R59/ Y15 - Y17/ E53 - E55/ W7
Present: BG13 - BG49/ Y15 - Y17
Snowmen: R14 - R46 - R59/ RV10 - R83/ BG13 - BG49/ W0 - W2 - 0
Wreath: R14 - R46 - R59/ YG11 - YG13
Car: R14 - R46 - R59/ Y15 - Y17/ W3 - W7/ YG41/ W0 - W2
I stamped and heat embossed the snow in the globes and the little sign on one of the snow globes. I used Lawn Fawn white embossing powder. I fussy cut the images and added them to my green panel. I die cut the Falala Script die from Sparkle cardstock and adhered it to the panel as well.
As a finishing touch I added some highlights. I adhered the panel onto a Chili Pepper cardbase.
I think next time I will combine this set with the Holiday Bitties stamp set, that will be fabulous!
