I created this ocean themed Christmas card, using a bunch of Lawn Fawn sets: Christmas Fishes, Year Six, Winter Narwhal and Mermaid for You.
I started on the background and scene. For the background, I used Mermaid cardstock and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn.
For the sandy hills, I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders. I die cut them from Paper Bag and Kraft cardstock. I added some splatter, using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and Chinese White watercolor.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Narwhal: C0 - C2 - C3 - C5/ E00 - E11/ E41 - E43/ BG13 - BG49
Crab: R46 - R59
Fish: YR21 - Y38/ YR15 - YR68
Shell: BG13 - BG49/ R22 - R01
Hats: R14 - R46
Rocks: C0 - C3 - C5
Plants: YG11 - YG13/ G07 - G28/ BG18 - BG72
Presents: R14 - R46/ YR15 - YR68/ BG13 - BG49
Presents: R14 - R46/ YR15 - YR38/ BG13 - BG49
Starfish: R01 - R22
I fussy cut all the images (a lot of work) and assembled the card.
As a finishing touch I added some Glitter Laquer to the hats and white hightlights and dots to some images, with a gelly roll pen.
I adhered the panel onto a Fog cardbase.
Super jolly card, love the result!
