YOU ARE MERMAZING (2)

For this under water themed friendship card, I used the Mermazing stamp set from My Favorite Things.

For the background, I wanted to create a bold ocean look. I used Distress Oxide Inks. I used Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. I added a stencil on top. I used the Rays stencil from Tim Holtz and appplied Yeti Ink onto to the background.

I die cut two sandy hills with the Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn. I ink blended them with Scattered Straw Distress Ink and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I also added some splatter, using Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I stamped the corals and sea weed first. I used Celery Stick Ink, Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Wild Rose Ink and Lobster Ink.

I stamped all the other images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mermaid: E53 - E55 - E57/ YR21 - YR23/ BG15 - BG18/ Y38 - YR07/ R22 - R35
Fish: Y38 - YR07
Rock: E41 - E43
Shells: YR00 - YR02

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped some fish onto the background using Soot Ink. And added the sentiment.

I love creating these ocean scenes.
