HAPPY BIRTHDAY (61)

Lawn Fawn released this cool Build-a-Barn die set, which can be combined with so many great farm themed sets they have. Off course the new You Goat This set, but also Hay There, an older one. I used both for this birthday card. 

I die cut a piece of watercolor cardstock with the Large Slimline with Sliders die. I also die cut a bunch of hills and grass, using the Stitched Hillside Borders, Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and Grassy Hillside Borders. 

I ink blended the sky, using a cloud stencil, with Salty Ocean Oxide Ink. The regular hills I ink blended with Fossilized Amber and Tea Dye Oxide Ink. For the grass I used Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover. 

I die cut the barn. First I used the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop for some Chili Pepper cardstock. After that I die cut the base of the barn from this piece of cardstock. This way it looks like a wooden barn. The rest was die cut from Chocolate Bar, Woodgrain and Noble Fir cardstock. 

I used Aged Mahogany Oxide Ink to add some shading to the barn.

I stamped all the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Cow: W5 - W7/ E41 - E43/ E00 - E11 - E04

Horse; E41 - E43 - E44/ W5 - W7/ E57 - E29/ W0 - W3

Pig: E00 - E11 - E04/ W5 - W7

Rooster: E15 - E18/ R05 - R27/ Y15 - Y17

Chicks: Y00 - Y11 - Y02/ Y15 - Y17

Goat: E41 - E43 - E44/ E57 - E29

Farmer: E00 - E11 - E04/ E57 - E29/ YR21 - Y26 - YR23/ R05 - R27/ B41 - B45

Fence: W0 - W3

Hay: YR21 - Y26 - YR23

Feeder: E31 - E33 - E35/ YR21 - Y26 - YR23

Cans: W0 - W3 - W5/ R05 - R27/ B41 - B45

Eggs; E000 - E00 - E11

Grass: YG00 - YG03

I die cut and fussy cut all the images. I assembled the barn and added all the hills to my background. I adhered all the images, mostly flat, onto the scene. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. 

It was a lot of work, but totally worth my time. I love this scene.
