THANK YOU (2)

For this thank you card I used the Harvest Mouse stamp set by My Favorite Things.

I started on the background. I used watercolor paper and Distress Inks as watercolors. I used five Distress Ink colors: Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet, Cracked Pistachio, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar. I wetted the paper and added the colors one by one to the paper. Trying to blend it and create a soft look.

I stamped and heat embossed the big sentiment, from Thank You Wishes by Mama Elephant, with Ranger embossing powder in the color white.

I added some white paint to the background, by flicking a paint brush over the panel to create splatter.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mice: C0 - C2
Clothes: B18 - B39/ YG41 - G02/ V17 - V09
Apple + berries: R17 - R46

I fussy cut the images and added them to the panel. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Ballet Slippers cardbase.

I'm not completely sure about this design, love the colors though.
