HANG IN THERE (2)

For this simple watercolor card, I used the Hang In There stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I entered this card into the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, where the theme was watercolor.

I used a simple technique for the background. I took some Crushed Olive Distress Ink and smooshed it onto my craft mat. I added some water to it and put my paper into it. Then I also added some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and did the same. I set the panel aside to dry.

I stamped the sloth image and the individual leaves. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Sloth: E57 - E29/ W2 - W3
Branch: E41 - E43
Leaves: YG11 - G21

I fussy cut the images and went over to my background again. I die cut this watercolored piece with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I stamped the sentiment onto it and adhered the stamped images. I added the panel onto a Cilanto cardbase. Ad a finishing touch I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops, in the color Apple Green.
