YOU MAKE EVERYTHING S'MORE FUN (1)

Happy new year everyone! Today I made my first card of the year and I used the Camping Critters stamp set from Avery Elle. 

For the sky, I started by heat embossing the stars and the sentiment. I used white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. I waited for it all to be cooled down and I ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Broken China and Faded Jeans. Two colors I love togethet. Faded Jeans is a new color I got for Christmas. 

I die cut two hills from Cilantro cardstock, with the Stitched Hillside Borders die set from Lawn Fawn. I ink blended the edges with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Bear: E31 - E35/ E000 - E00

Owl: E41 - E43 - E44/ E000 - E00

Mouse: W0 - W3/ E02 - E00

Log: E25 - E29

Marshmallows: E41 - E43

Moon: Y15 - Y17

Flowers: Y15 - Y17/ YG00 - YG03/ BG000 - BG01

Tent: R32 - R35 - R39/ Y15 - Y17

Fireflies: Y15 - Y17/ BG000 - BG01/ C5 - C7

Campfire: E25 - E29/ Y15 - Y17 - YR04

Mug: R32 - R35 - R39

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card.

I love this night time camping scene. And I didn't even use all the critters that come with this set. I can't wait to create more cards with these adorbale images from Avery Elle.
