HAPPY HALLOWEEN (9)
For this simple, one layer Halloween/ fall card, I used several Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Happy Harvest, Jump For Joy, Forest Feast and Happy Happy Happy Add-On.
I started by stamping the sentiment, using watercolor paper. I stamped all the images around it. I stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I then heat embossed all the images with Clear Gloss embossing powder from Wow. I'm going to watercolor the images, which makes it much easier.
I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers for coloring. Here are the colors I used:
Pumpkins: 052 - Bright Yellow + 070 - Orange/ 041 - Light Green + 040 - Green
Leaves: 072 - Beige + 062 - Dark Brown
Toadstools: 020 - Red + 022 - Carmine Red/ 071 - Flesh Color
Acorns: 060 - Brown + 070 - Orange
To add a bit more to the card, I added some paint splatter, using my Vincent van Gogh watercolors. I used two colors: Permanent Red ight and Azo Yellow Medium.
I added the panel onto a Kraft carbase and rounded off the top left and bottom right corner.
Super simple to make. I never really make one layer cards, so it's fun to do that for a change.

REVEAL WHEEL (9)
My first Christmas Reveal Wheel card. As you might know, I love the Reveal Wheel die from Lawn Fawn and I've already created a bunch of cards with it. Today I made a card with the Here We Go A-Waddling stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting all the elements for my scene and reveal wheel. I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders for a snowy hill.
For ink blending the background, I used Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks. I used a very light hand and kept it simple.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Penguins: W5 - W7/ W0 - W2 - 0/ Y38 - YR16
Books: B12 - B14
Hats + scarfs: RV10 - R83/ R29 - R59/ Y11 - Y06/ BV13 - BV17
Guitar: E31 - E33/ E15 - E18
Street light: Y11 - Y06 - YR16 - YR68 - YR07
I fussy cit the images and assembled the card. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, which came from the Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments. I used white embossing powder from Ranger and embossed it onto a strip of Chili Pepper cardstock.
The entire panel was adhered to a Chili Pepper cardbase. I also added some highlights and dots to the images, using a white gelly roll pen. I die cut the little Arrow from white cardstock and adhered it next to the wheel.
I can tell you, that if you are intimidated by interactive cards (like I am), this Reveal Wheel isn't hard to create at all. And it's not very time comsuming either. I love this die set, makes for a fun card every time!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS (2)
For this Christmas card, I used the Holiday Helpers stamp set, from Lawn Fawn.
For the background, I wanted to create a brick wall. I took some Kraft cardstock and the Brick Wall stencil from My Favorite Things. I ink blended Yeti Ink through the stencil.
For the ground, I took a piece of Gotta Have Gingham paper. I also die cut some frames, using the Mini Picture Frames. I die cut them from Woodgrain cardstock, a slightly darker tone then the Kraft cardstock in the background.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Elves: E53 - E55/ E55 - E57/ W5 - W7/ E08 - E18/ YR21 - YR23/ YG11 - YG13/ R29 - R59
Boxes: YR21 - YR23/ YG11 - YG13/ B12 - B14

WARM WISHES (2)
For this simple, yet time consuming Christmas card, I used the Thanks a Latte stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I wanted to create my own pattern paper, by stamping the two mug, the candy cane and the marshmallows onto a piece of white cardstock. I die cut this paper with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables.
I colored everthing with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mugs: R29 - R59/ B00 - B12/ YG11 - YG13/ RV10 - R83
Coffee/ hot chocolate: E15 - E18
Candy canes: R29 - R59
Background: C0 - C3
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Black Licorice cardstock, using white embossing powder from Ranger.
I adhered the panel onto a Ballet Slippers cardbase. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops onto to the card. I used four colors: Autumn Red, Apple Green, Caribbean Ocean and Bubblegum Blush.
It's a very simple look, but it took me pretty long to color everything perfectly.

BUNDLE UP (2)
This card, that I made with the Bundle Up stamp set from Hero Arts, is perfect as a get well card.
For the background, I wanted to create my own gingham pattern. I took a Sunflower cardbase and stamped the gingham pattern onto it in Carrot Ink, using the Gingham Backdrop stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
For the focal pannel in the center, I took a piece of Vanilla Malt cardstock and ink blended the bottom with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
I stamped my images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Girl: E53 - E55/ YR21 - YR23/ YR04 - YR07/ R29 - R59/ YG61 - YG67/ W5 - W7
Wood + tree trunk: E15 - E18
Leaves: E08 - E18
Acorns: E31 - E33/ E77 - E79
Pinecones: E53 - E55 - E57
Squirrel: W0 - W3 - W5
I fussy cut the images, stamped the sentiment in Lobster Ink and Cranberry Ink and assembled the card.
I'm super happy with the colros I choose. It can function as a fall card, but also as a winter/ Christmas card. But my intetnion was to create a get well card.

HUGS FOR YOU (1)
For this get well card, I used the Up in the Air stamp set from My Favorite Things.
I started by die cutting the word 'hugs' from a piece of white cardstock. I wanted to use the negative piece of the die cut, so this panel will be the front of my card. The part you see through the letters, will be ink blended. I used Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks.
I added some splatter to the front panel, using Distress Inks as well. I used Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed.
I stamped all three hot air balloons and the two birds. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hot air balloons: YG41 - G02/ Y11 - Y06/ E22 - R35/ BG15 - BG18/ E53 - E55
Birds: y11 - Y06/ R22 - R35
I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the second part of the sentiment in Wild Rose Ink.
I added some highlights, using a white gelly roll pen. I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the card. I used three colors: Caribbean Blue, Red Berry and Dandelion Yellow.
I adhered the panel onto a Sticky Note cardbas.
I just love this stamp set, I bought it last year, but I'm still using it a lot.

HOPE YOUR CHRISTMAS (JINGLE BELLS) ROCK (1)
I tried my Alcohol Inks for the first time. I used them for the sky of the Christmas card. I combined two Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Toboggan Together and Here We Go A-Waddling.
Like I said, I used Alcohol Inks for my sky. I used only two colors: Indigo and Turquoise, I added drops to some Yupo Paper and used a straw to blow the colors around. I set this aside to dry (which was a lot quicker than I thought!!!).
I die cut a piece of watercolor cardstock with the Stitched Mountain Borders. I used Distress Inks for blending. I used Blueprint Sketch for the top half and Tumbled Glass for the bottom half. I added water and dabbed the drops off with a paper towel.
For the snow mountain tops, I used the Neon Amplify by Tsukineko, in white. I added them to the snow caps and hit them with my heat tool. When it heats up, it puffs up, to make it look like actual snow. It's super cool to see this happening.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Penguins: W5 - W7/ W0 - W2 - 0/ Y38 - YR16
Gifts + hats: R18 - R83/ R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ B12 - B14
Bell: E15 - E18/ Y00 - T06
Toboggan: E18 - E15
Snow balls: W0 - W2 - 0
I fussy cut and die cut the images and assembled the card. I heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Chili Pepper cardstock, uting white embossing powder from Ranger. I added highlights to some images, with a white gelly roll pen. I also added some Nuvo drops to the sky, in the color Gloss White, making it look like falling snow. I adhered the panel onto a Ballet Slippers cardbase.
Super fun scene. I still have to get better at using the Alcohol Inks, but my first attempt looks pretty cool!

GIFT TAGS (1)
I created a set of gift tags, with the Say What? Christmas Critters stamp set and the Say What? Gift Tags dies. I didn't specifically make them for Christmas, they can also be used for birthday gifts or thank you gifts, or any other kind of gift.
I started by die cutting all the tag elements. I used several Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Paper Bag cardstock, Chili Pepper cardstock and Blue Jay cardstock. From white cardstock, I die cut little hills, using the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders.
I stamped all four critters and the speech bubble. This last one four times. I used the same sentiment for all four tags. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Llama: E53 0 E55/ E000 - E21/ W5 - W7/ R39 - R59
Penguin: W5 - W7/ W0 - W2 - 0/ B18 - B37/ Y38 - YR04/ R29 - R59
Deer: E15 - E18/ E000 - E21/ W5 - W7
Unicorn: W0 - W2 - 0/ W5 - W7/ E000 - E21/ B18 - B37/ R29 - R59
I fussy cut all the images and started to assemble my tags. I stamped something on the the back of each tag, so I can write how it's for and who it's from. I used some twine, so you can easily add them to your gifts.
I love these tags, I will use them for all my Christmas gifts.

MERRY CHRISTMAS (9)
I combined stamp set from two different companies for this card, something I need to do more often. I used the Little Santa Agenda from Mama Elephant and the Say What? Christmas Critters set from Lawn Fawn.
I wanted to create my own background, by stamping a pattern. I used the solid speech bubble from Say What? Christmas Critters. I used three Lawn Fawn Ink colors for this: Celery Stick Ink, Moonstone Ink and Wild Rose Ink. I stamped one of the sentiments in all the speech bubbles.
I stamped three of the santa images and colored them with Copick Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Santas: R22 - R35/ E000 - E11/ W0 - 0/ W5 - W7
Candy cane: R29 - R59
Cookie: E53 - E55
Milk: BV00/ E000
Lights: B14/ YG13
I fussy cut the images. I die cut a piece of Guava cardstock and Black Licorice cardstock with the Merry Script die from Mama Elephant. I layered them together, slightly offsetting them, so it looks like it has a shadow. I stamped and heat embossed the rest of the sentiment, using white embossing powder from Ranger and the Happy Happy Happy Happy Add-On stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I assembled the card and adhered the panel onto a Cilantro cardbase. I added some highlights to the images, using a white gelly roll pen. I also added glitter to the word Merry, using the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.
I really love this color scheme, without being to traditional Christmassy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS (1)
For my first Christmas card of the year, I designed this card with the Holiday Helpers set from Lawn Fawn. I also used their Merry Christmas Line Border. I submitted this card for the winter 2018 call, to be featured in the Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. That would be so cool, if my card would end up in a magazine.
I started by blending the front panel. I masked off the top part, so that would stay white. I used two Distress Ink colors: Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover. I just love this green combination. I added some water to it, by dropping water onto the paper. I dabbed the drops off with a paper towel.
I die cut the line border with the sentiment from Sparkle Cardstock. To make it a bit more sturdy, I also die cut one line border with Chili Pepper cardstock. I layered the two for some dimension.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Elves: E53 - E55/ W5 - W7/ E15 - E29/ C0 - C3/ R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ Y08 - Y38
Box: E53 - E55 - E57
Scissors: C0 - C3/ Y08 - Y38
Ribbon: B12 - B14
Tape dispenser: R29 - R59/ C0 - C3
Duck: Y08 - Y38/ R29 - R59/ YR04
Bear: E08 - E18
Train: B12 - B14/ R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ Y08 - Y38
List: C0 - C3
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I added some highlights with a white gelly roll pen. The panel was adhered to a Noble Fir cardbase and I rounded off the two bottom corners.
For this call, I needed to use a sketch as inspiration. We could use it in any way we wanted, so this is what I came up with. I can't wait to hear from them, if I get featured or not.
