THERE'S A BABY ON THE WAY (1)

My friend asked me if I wanted to create a baby shower card, with elelphants on it. No problem. I got a ton of ideas and eventually went with this fun-filled 'baby on the way' card. I mainly used Toucan Do It from Lawn Fawn, but also used a bunch of other sets of theirs: Wild for You, Open Me, Plus One, Mermaid for You, Christimas Dreams, I Like You (a Lotl) and the Large Slimline with Sliders die set.

For the background, I ink blended the sky with Broken China, Blueprint Sketch and Villainous Potion (love this new purple). For the ground I ink blended Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs. All of these are Distress Oxide Inks. I added dark brown watercolor splatters onto the ground. I later added some white dots with a gel pen.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Elephants: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5
Leopard: E57 - E29/ W5 - W7/ YR21 - Y26 - YR23
Toucan: W5 - W7/ Y15 - Y17/ YR04 - R05/ E000 - E00
Butterflies: BG53 - BG57/ B60 - B63 - B79/ YG00 - YG03 - YG06
Lizard: BG53 - BG57/ YG00 - YG03 - YG06
Leaves: BG53 - BG57/ B60 - B63 - B79/ YG00 - YG03 - YG06
Rock: C0 - C2 - C3 - C5 - C7
Branches: YG00 - YG03 - YG06/ E31 - E33 - E35
Crown: Y15 - Y17
Mobile + presents: BG53 - BG57/ B60 - B63 - B79/ YG00 - YG03 - YG06/ Y15 - Y17

I die cut or fussy cut the images and assembled the card. Before I had already stamped the sentiment onto the sign.

I added some highlights to the images using a white gel pen.

I hope the recipient will love this card as much as me and my friend do.
