For this Christmas card, I used the Holiday Helpers stamp set, from Lawn Fawn.
For the background, I wanted to create a brick wall. I took some Kraft cardstock and the Brick Wall stencil from My Favorite Things. I ink blended Yeti Ink through the stencil.
For the ground, I took a piece of Gotta Have Gingham paper. I also die cut some frames, using the Mini Picture Frames. I die cut them from Woodgrain cardstock, a slightly darker tone then the Kraft cardstock in the background.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Elves: E53 - E55/ E55 - E57/ W5 - W7/ E08 - E18/ YR21 - YR23/ YG11 - YG13/ R29 - R59
Boxes: YR21 - YR23/ YG11 - YG13/ B12 - B14
Wrapping paper: B12 - B14
Scissors: YR21 - YR23/ C0 - C3
Ribbon: RV10 - R83
Roll of ribbon: RV10 - R83/ C0 - C3
Tape dispenser: C0 - C3
Candy cane: R29 - R59
Hot chocolate: RV10 - R83
Bear: YR21 - YR23
Doll: YG11 - YG13/ E55 - E57/ RV10 - R83
Train: R29 - R59/ YR21 - YR23
Duck: B12 - B14/ YR21 - YR23
Drum: R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ B12 - B14/ YR21 - YR23
List: C0 - C3
I fussy cut all the images (but the toys, they go into the frames) and assembled the card. I adhered the panel onto a Chili Pepper cardbase and added some highlights to the images with a white gelly roll pen.
I stamped the sentiment and done is my fun Holiday Helpers scene. I really enjoy creating cards with these adorable images.
