CONGRATULATIONS (2)

For this congrats card, I used the In Bloom stamp set in combinations with Lawn Fawn inks.

I wanted to create a nice floral panel with all the flowers and greenery. I used several Lawn Fawn Inks and was inspired by a Wes Anderson color pallette. I used: Manatee Ink, Hippo Ink, Ballet Slippers Ink, Bubblegum Ink, Lobster Ink, Cranberry Ink, Moonstone Ink and Doe Ink.

When I finished the pattern, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Paper Bag cardstock. I trimmed the cardstock to a strip and adhered it to the panel with foam tape.

I adhered the panel onto a Paper Bag cardbase and rounded off the tow right corners.

I love creating patterns like this, varying the color pallettes.

I ❤︎ YOU SO MUCH (1)

For this love themed card, I used the Gleeful Gardens stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting a scalloped circle, with the Scalliped Circle Stackables. I also die cut a hill with the Stithced Hillside Borders. I used Distress Inks for these elements. Mermaid Lagoon for the sky and Twisted Citron for the hill.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Snails: Y15 - Y17
Mushrooms: R22 - R35/ E41 - E43

I fussy cut the images and added them to the little scalloped scene. I adhered the scene to a piece of Raspberry cardstock, that I die cut with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto a piece of Perfectly Plaid Chill paper. I took a Raspberry cardbase.

A pretty simple card.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HOME (1)

I was inspired by Nichol Spohr for this new home card. I used the Village Border die from Lawn Fawn and a bunch of their pattern appers.

I die cut the Village Border from white cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Rainbow colors, using Lawn Fawn Inks: Merman Ink, Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Sunflower Ink, Fake Tan, Lobster Ink. The sentiment is from Happy Happy Happy Add-On and Snow Cool.

I cut severals strips, thin and thick, from some of Lawn Fawn's paper packs. I used papers from Beachside, Perfectly Plaid Chill and Knock On Wood.

I added a lot of foam tape to a Mermaid cardbase and added all the strips. Then I added the Village Border with foam tape. As a finishng touch I added some drops of Glossy Accents.

I'm really happy with this bright happy home card.

SENDING SMILES (2)

For this card I used the Monster Love stamp set from My Favorite Things, and the Grid Window die from Mama Elephant.

I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Grid Window die. I cut out some of the windows, to create two bigger squares and two rectangles.

I stamped all the monsters with Lawn Fawn Ink. Here are the inks I used:
Blue monster: Fish Tank Ink
Green monster: Freshly Cut Grass Ink
Red monster: Lobster Ink
Yellow monster: Sunflower Ink
Purple monster: Sugarplum Ink

I added all the eyes, mouths and antennas to the monsters and fussy cut them.

For the background, I blended some Wild Honey Distress Ink onto watercolor paper. I added a little to the bottom and the top, leaving a white space in the middle.

I assembled the card, stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto Black Licorice cardbase.

SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU TO PIECES (1)

For this love card, I used the Some Bunny stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, and some Lawn Fawn dies.

I started by stamping and coloring the images. I used Copic Markers for it. Here are the colors I used:
Bunny: C0 – C2 – C3/ RV10 – R83
Chick: Y00 – Y02/ RV10 – R83/ YR61 – YR02

I fussy cut the images and set them aside to focus on my scene. For the background I blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink onto watercolor paper. I die cut a cloud border, with the Puffy Cloud Borders. And I also die cut a grass border and butterflies, with the Meadow Borders. For the grass I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink and for the butterflies I used Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed Distress Ink.

I assembled the card, stamped the sentiment and dotted lines with Hippo Ink and added the panel onto a piece of Narwhal cardstock.

As a finishing touch, I added glitter to the butterflies with the Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir. I also added some white dots to the bunnie’s belly and the chick’s cheeks.

I had a completely different plan for this set, but I love this more!!!

YOU'RE THE SPRINKLES ON MY CUPCAKE (1)

There is a new challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics blog. For challenge # 21, the theme is “Mood Board”. You can let yourself be inspired by the images, themes or colors you see on the mood board presented. I designed this Sweet Friends card for the challenge.

I started on the background. I took a piece of watercolor paper and wetted a circular shape onto the paper. I added some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink onto it. I dabbed the water off, to make the pink a little softer. When it dried, I added some pink splatter to the panel.

I stamped the cupcake twice and added a different face on each of them. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hearts: R14 – R17

I stamped sprinkles onto the tops of the cupcakes, in Hippo Ink and Bubblegum Ink. I then die cut the cupcakes with my Cuttlebug.

I stamped the sentiment in Hippo Ink and Bubblegum Ink and assembled the card. I adhered the panel onto a Ballet Slippers cardbase. I rounded off the top right corner.

WITH LOVE (3)

I decided to create a sympathy card with the In Bloom stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I started by choosing all the Lawn Fawn Ink colors I wanted to use. I'm only going to use the greenery stamps, no flowers (but the flower buds). I used a rectangle panel to stamp on and made a little mark onto the middle of the card. This won't be visible in the end.

I used my MISTI for the stamping. When I positioned a stamp, I stamped this image four times. Each time I rotated the paper, so the stamp will stay in its position.

All the ink colors I used: Celery Stick Ink, Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Noble Fir Ink, Wild Rose Ink, Doe Ink, Minty Fresh Ink.

I die cut a circle with the Small Stitched Circle Stackables and stamped the sentiment onto it with Wild Rose Ink and Hippo Ink. The sentiment is from Fab Flowers.

I adhered the circle to the panel with foam tape. I added the panel onto a Guava cardbase.
It's so easy to create beautiful cards with this floral stamp set. Loving it!
