I made another graduation card and this time I used the Bicycle Built For You set and the little graduation cap from Smart Cookie. All from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut two rectangles from Watercolor Wishes paper, with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn. The green one I eventually turned into a grassy border, with the Meadow Borders die. I die cut some clouds as well, with the Simple Puffy Clouds.

BEST FISHES (4)

For this underwater themed birthday card, I combined the Mermaid For You stamp set with the Fintastic Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started on the background. I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and a blending tool, added it to a piece of watercolor cardstock and then flicked some water drops onto the paper. I dabbed the droplets off with a paper towel and created a subtle distressed background.

From vellum I die cut three wavy pieces, using the Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn. I die cut one more hill, from watercolor paper, and added Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink onto it with a blending tool.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto the vellum and then went over to my images. I stamped the seaweed and coral in two Lawn Fawn Inks: Freshly Cut Grass Ink and Bubblegum Ink. The other images I colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skins: E00 – E11/ E43 – E71 – E77
Black hair: W5 – W7 – BV29
Red hair: YR68 – E08
Blond hair: Y11 – Y06
Aqua top + tail: YG41 – G02
Pink top + tail: R22 – R35
Rock: C0 – C2
Yellow fish: Y11 – Y06
Seahorse: G41 – G02/ BV02
Pink fish: R22 – R35

A lot of coloring, but so much fun. I fussy cut all the images and started to assemble the card. I adhered it all together and then added the panel onto a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper. I adhered the entire thing to a white cardbase. I added glitter to the hair, with the Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir.

I really love how this card turned out.

I know it’s a fall stamp set, but the Harvest Mouse set from My Favorite Things can work all year through. I created this love card with these cute mice.

I used Distress Inks and my ink blending tool to give the sky and grass some color. For the sky I used Mermaid Lagoon and for the grass Mowed Lawn. I added water drops to the sky and dabbed them off with a paper towel.

I die cut some clouds, with the Simple Puffy Clouds from Lawn Fawn. On the biggest cloud I stamped the sentiment.

I stamped two of the mice onto watercolor paper and watercolored them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the colors I used:

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF (1)

For this encouragement card I used the Believe in Yourself stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I’m also sending this creation in for the newest Lawn Fawn challenge.

I die cut a circle frame with the Small Stitched Circle Stackables, from pink cardstock. I kept the inside to use as my background. I also die cut a scalloped circle with the Scalloped Circle Stackables. This I did from a piece of Perfectly Plaid paper. I adhered the pink background circle onto the plaid scalloped circle.

I adhered some acetate to the back of the circle frame and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to the card. I adhered the frame onto the panel with a double layer of foam tape. This is the shaker.

After I created the shaker element, I stamped the jackalope and colored him with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Jackalope: E41 – E43
Antlers: E57 – E29

I fussy cut the image. I stamped the sentiment with Mermaid Ink from Lawn Fawn. I cut the sentiment into a small strip with flag ends. I adhered the sentiment to the shaker and then added the jackalope. I took a piece of white cardstock for my cardbase.

CONGRATS ON YOUR BUNDLE OF JOY (1)

I combined two Lawn Fawn stamp sets to create this baby card. I used Plus One and Love Letters.

I started with the background. I didn’t want this baby card to be just for a girl or boy, it had to be suitable for both genders. So I picked some natural colors, that could be nice for both. I used two Distress Ink colors to blend the background: Shaded Lilac and Cracked Pistachio. I the die cut the panel with one of the rectangles from the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut two cloud borders, with the Puffy Cloud Borders from Lawn Fawn, one from white cardstock and one from vellum. I layered them onto the blended background.

I stamped the images. I used the two birds from Love Letters and the cradle, stork and rattle from Plus One. I color the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Beaks: Y38
Stork: W0 – W2
Beak: Y38
Bundle: Y11 – Y02
Cradle: Y11 – Y02/ YG41 – BG34/ W0 – W2
Rattle: BV000 – BV02/ YG41 – BG34

I fussy cut all the images. As you can see, I only used a few colors for the images.

I stamped the sentiment in Hippo Ink, from Lawn Fawn, and adhered all the images to the blended background. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper and then to a white cardbase.

I will probably send this card to my cousin, who is currently expecting her second child.
