SENDING WISHES... FOR A VERY HAPPY DAY (1)
For this happy day card, I used the Dandy Day stamp set from Lawn Fawn together with the Cattail Border die.
For the background, I used the Grassy Stencil from Lawn Fawn. I used Lucky Clover Oxide Ink, to make it look like some grass in the distance. Because I'm also going to layer some grassy borders over it. For the sky, I used Broken China Oxide Ink. I stamped the sentiment in Jet Black Ink and Sunflower Ink.
I die cut the Grassy Border and Cattail Border from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended the tops of the blades Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. I die cut the tops of the cattails from Paper Bag cardstock.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mice: E41 - E43/ E00 - E11/ R83
Dandelions: Y15 - Y17/ YG13 - G14 - G07
Leaves: YG13 - G14 - G07
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I added white highlights with my gelly roll pen, to the cattails.
I stamped the little pieces in the sky with Hippo Ink.
A super cute card that can be perfect for andy happy day wishing, like a birthday, graduation, wedding, communion. You name it.

BOOK MARKS (1)
I used the Don't Worry Be Hoppy + the Add-On die set from Lawn Fawn, to create these fun book marks.
I die cut the tags/ book marks from Dandy Day pattern paper. I used the pink/ reddish color and the green.
I stamped the images for four book marks. So two frogs and two bunnies. I used Copic Markers for coloring. Here are the colors I used:
Frogs: YG13 - G14/ Y17
Bunnies: W0 - W3/ RV10 - R83
I die cut the images and assembled the book marks. I stamped the sentiments onto each book mark, a different one for all four.
I took some white/ green twine that I tied to all book marks.
These would make a great little gift for your bookworm friends.

FIND HAPPINESS IN THE LITTLE THINGS (1)
Lawn Fawn has a new interactive die and it's called the Magic Iris die. It opens up and reveals an image or sentiment on the inside. I used it today, for the first time, together with the Hey Lady stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
If you want to get a detailed tutorial for the Magic Iris, on how to use and assemble it, here is a link to the Lawn Fawn video on their YouTube channel. It's a lot easier than you might think.
I started by creating the Magic Iris. I used white cardstock for the elements you will not be seeing. For the iris that opens and closes and the add-on ring on top, I used Spiffy Speckles pattern paper. For the tab I used Guava and Apricot cardstock.
For the background I used a coordinating Spiffy Speckles paper, the one with the blue speckles and white background. This way, the Magic Iris really stands out but it all works together too.
I also wanted to create a little ground, so I used the Grassy Border die and die cut it from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended the edges with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.
I stamped the images and also used a couple of images from A Bug Deal. I used Copic Markers for coloring and these are the colors I used:
Leaves: YG13 - G14 - G05
Branches: E00 - E11 - E04
Ladybugs: W3 - W5/ R35 - R39
Magnifying glass: W3 - W5 - W7/ BG72 - BG18/ R35 - R39
I die cut the images. I also die cut the inside from the magnifying glass and added some accetate to the back, so it looks like it has real glass in it.
I assembled the card and put the images on the inside of the Magic Iris as well. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Guava cardstock and added these strips to the side of the card.
I was a bit intimitated by this die at first, it looks like a lot more work than it actually is. It's really not that hard and a lot of fun to create these Magic Iris cards.

HAPPY EASTER (18)
I created this all-die cut card with the Mini Easter Eggs die set and Meadow Backdrop: Portrait die from Lawn Fawn.
I die cut the Meadow Backdrop die from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended the grass with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.
For the sky, I ink blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I used the Clouds stencil from MFT to create a cloudy sky.
The bee was die cut from Sunflower, Black Licorice and Vanilla Malt cardstock. I used Guava and Sticky Note for the flowers and Vanilla Malt for the clouds. For the easter eggs I used Guava, Apricot, Mermaid and Sticky Note cardstock. All cardstocks are from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the front grassy hill. The sentiment is from Eggstra Amazing Easter.

CRAFTY HAUL (40)
My Lawn Fawn order is in and all the goodies I wanted to get, I received today. Some of the products I already received earlier, as a gift from Lawn Fawn. The rest was ordered on release day. Here is everything I got from their new release.
Off course I had to get their newest interactive dies: The Magic Iris die, which creates a circle that opens and you can hide and image or sentiment inside. I also got one of the add-on die set, the Magic Iris Scalloped Add-On die. There is another one, but first I wanted to try these one out. Maybe I will get that other die later.
The Dandy Day stamp set is super cute, I love these adorable mice and their dandelions.
The Hey Lady stamp set is a smaller stamp set, with a good price point and still a lot of images and sentiment in it. I got the coordinating dies because of that magnifying glass. It cuts out the center of the glass, so you can put accetate on it and actually put one of the bugs under it. That will look great!
I got the Hello Sunshine Remix paper pad, with all those fun and bright patter papers in it.
Oliver's Stitched ABCs die set is my favorite die set from this release. I is a complete alphabet with stitched letters to add on you projects. The letters aren't too big, so they can fit on a standard sized card without you having to squeeze all of them on there when you're trying to create a longer sentiment.
The Really High Five stamp set is cute as hell. With those amazing critters, balloons and that trampoline I can imagine a lot of fun scenes for cards.
The Pop-Up Hello die was a gift, something I wouldn't get myself. But a fun die to add something extra on the inside of your cards. And it works perfectly with Oliver's Stitched ABCs.
There are a few new reveal wheel add-ons. I got the Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On Frames: Balloon and Speech Bubble. They will work well with the Really High Five stamp set, but also on their own. Super fun to use on these reveal wheel cards, which I love making!
There were two Meadow Backdrop die sets. Normally I would get the landscape dies, but this time I decided to get the Meadow Backdrop: Portrait. Mostly because of the bee image and the cool cloud dies that come with it. Ready to create aweseom all-die cut cards with this set!
I got the big sized papers for the Hello Sunshine remix papers. I mostly use them for my photos on the blog and my Instagram. As a background for my cards. I needed some new papers and these are perfect!
Swans are super hip this year, I'm seeing them everywhere. And Lawn Fawn tagged along and made this Swan Soirée stamp set. It will work well for baby cards, wedding cards, mother's day cards. And to go along with that, I got the Cattail Border die set. It will set a perfect pond scene, also for some older sets I have, like Toadally Awesome or Little Fireflies.
Don't Worry Be Hoppy is another onf of these cute sets that also comes along with tag dies. I also have the For You, Deer set (which is more Christmas themed). There is another with a sloth and elephant, which I don't have. But I love eveything with bunnies, so this I just had to get. And I got both the Add-On dies and the coordinating die set.
My favorite stamp set from this release is one I got as a gift from Lawn Fawn and you already saw me use it a couple of times on this blog. It's the A Bug Deal stamp set. I also got the coordinating dies, which is a must. I don't mind fussy cutting, it actually relaxes me. But these images are so small, the coordinating dies were a welcome surprise. I think the worm images is my favorite of them all.
With the Dandy Day stamp set, there is also a Dandy Day paper pad. Super fun pastel colors with dandelions on them.
Something new that Lawn Fawn has are stencils. I happen to use stencils a lot, especially scene-builder stencils. They have all kinds of stencils, but I only got their grassy border stencil. Because that's one I would use often. And I already have a cloud stencil and hill stencil from another company, and I don't really need two of them. Maybe in the future I will, but first the grass one.
To go along with the Magic Picture Changer and the upcoming Easter theme, I got the Easter Before 'n After and its coordinating dies. It will also work perfecty without the magic Picture Changer, that's why I got the dies. To cut out the insides of these baskets. Because that will be a drag. And since Easter cards a re some of my favorite themes to work with, I had to have this one!
Last, but definitely not least, I got the new huggers die set: the Spring Critter Huggers die set. I can create a duck, a chick and a bunny. Especially excited about that last one. I think instead of creating Easter treat bags this year (for my friend's kids) I will use this die set.

REACH FOR THE STARS (2)
For this simple night sky encouragement card I used the Upon a Sky stamp set and Little Fireflies stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
For the sky I used Dusty Concord and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. I applied Yeti Ink onto to the background, using the Clouds stencil from MFT. To create stars, I splatters some silver paint onto it, from the Starry Colors watercolor set.
I die cut a grassy hill, with the Simple Grassy Hillside Borders. I ink blended it with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Inks. I stamp and heat embossed the sentiment onto it as well.
I stamped the images with my Fade Out ink from Ink on 3 and did some no-line coloring in them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the markers I used:
060 - Brown
076 - Medium Brown
062 - Dark Brown
091 - Light Grey
200 - Sugar Almond Pink
050 - Yellow + 055 - Pale Yellow
042 - Turquoise Green + 049 - Green Shadow
083 - Lilac

YOU'RE TOADALLY AWESOME (2)
With the new Lawn Fawn release out now, it's easy to forget all the older stamp sets you already have. So I decided to use one of my favorites from a few years ago. The Toadally Awesome stamp set. I also used the mushrooms from the Oh Gnome stamp set.
For the sky, I ink blended Cracked Pistachio and Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Inks. I die cut some grass with the Simple Grassy Hillside Borders and Grassy Hillside Borders. I used Cilantro cardstock and Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders to die cut a pond from Moonstone cardstock. I ink blended it with Broken China Oxide Ink.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Frogs: YG11 - YG13/ Y15 - Y17
Lilly pads: YG07 - G05 - G28
Lillies: R01 - R22
Cat tails: BG93 - BG96/ E55 - E57
Mushrooms: Y15 - Y17/ R01 - R22/ R35 - R39
Dragonflies: BG72 - BG18/ YG41 - G02
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel onto a piece of Dandy Day pattern paper. I used my white gelly roll pen to add highlighst and dots to the images.
Super fun scene, those frogs always cheer me up!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (47)
I created a Magic Picture Changer card. I used the A Bug Deal stamp set from Lawn Fawn, but also used some other sets: Some Bunny, Oh Gnome and Open Me.
For the background/ sky I used three Distress Ink colors. I used Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey and Carved Pumpkin. I used the last color to splatter as well.
I used the Puffy Cloud Borders, but not for clouds. I die cut it from Cilantro cardstock and created a bush out of it. I ink blended with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. I die cut the Spooky Fence Border from white cardstock and a Simple Stitched Hillside Border from Kraft cardstock. I splatter Ground Espresso Distress Ink onto the hill.
I stamped the images, for the Magic Picture Changer scene and all the seperate images, and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Branches: E53 - E55
Grasshoppers + leaves: G14 - G07
Cocoon: BG93 - BG96/ G14 - G07
Woodlouse: W3 - W5/ E41 - E43
Butterfly: G14 - G07/ R35 - R39/ R01 - R22
Plant box: E53 - E55 - E57/ E71 - E74 - E79
Watering can: Y15 - Y17
Flowers: R35 - R39/ R01 - R22/ Y15 - Y17/ G14 - G07

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and assembled the card. I added a pull tab, with Chili Pepper and No. 2 Pencil cardstocks. I added the sentiment to the sign and highlights and dots to all the images, with a white gelly roll pen.
This scene looks perfect, I really enjoyed creating this card.

SCALLOPED TREAT BOX (4)
I created this treat box, using the Scalloped Treat Box die and the A Bug Deal stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I die cut the treat box from watercolor cardstock. I ink blended clouds (with the Clouds stencil from MFT) with Broken China Oxide Ink. I also die cut some hills, with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders, from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended these with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.
First, I die cut the letters for the word 'hello', using Oliver's Stitched ABCs die set. I used five Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Sunflower, Cilantro and Peacock.
I stamped the images (the flower is from Gleeful Gardens) and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Flowers: Y15 - Y17/ YG13 - G14/ BG13 - BG49
Branch + sand: E53 - E55
Leaves: YG13 - G14
Butterfly: R35 - R39/ YG13 - G14/ BG13 - BG49
Caterpillar: R35 - R39/ Y15 - Y17/ YG13 - G14
Woodlouse: E41 - E43/ W3 - W5
Worm: E00 - E11 - E04
Grasshopper: YG13 - G14
Ladybug: W3 - W5/ R35 - R39
Firefly: Y15 - Y17/ BG13 - BG49
I die cut all the images with my Cuttlebug. I assembled the box and added all the hills, letters and stamped images onto it.
This is a super fun gift box to put some candy in or maybe a gift card. Or some other little present you want to give someone.

JUST WANTED TO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY (1)
I just love these little bugs. I made another birthday card with the new A Bug Deal stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
For the backgrounds I used a piece of Spiffy Speckles paper, which I ink blended with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink. Only the top. I die cut a Simple Stitched Hillside Border from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended it with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. I stamped the sentiment onto the hill.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Branches: E53 - E55
Leaves + grasshopper: YG13 - G07
Caterpillar: R35 - R39/ Y15 - Y17/ YG41 0 G02
Ladybug: R35 - R39/ W3 - W5
Woodlouse: W3 - W5/ E41 - E43
Worm: E00 - E11 - E04
Firefly: Y15 - Y17/ YG41 - G02
Sand: E74 - E79
I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and assembled the card. I added highlights, dots and stripes to my images using a white gelly roll pen.
This is, so far, my favorite set of this release. Can't wait to make more cards with these adorable bugs.
