IT'S A SPECIAL DAY (2)

For this love themes card, I used the Out of this World stamp set together with the Monster Mash stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I ink blended a space background with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Oxide Inks. I die cut a hill, with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders, from Fog cardstock and added some Grey watercolor splatter onto it with the Vincent van Gogh watercolors. I wanted it to look like a planet in outer space.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Astronaut: V01 - V12 - V04/ Y15 - Y17/ C3 - C5/ C0 - C2/ E00 - E11 - E04
Planets: V01 - V12 - V04/ Y15 - Y17/ R35 - E39 - R59/ C3 - C5
Aliens: Y15 - Y17/ R35 - R39 - R59
Rocket: Y15 - Y17/ V01 - V12 - V04/ BG000

I fussy cut the images and added them to my background. I stamped the sentiment in Soot Ink. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Really Rainbow Scallops paper. The entire panel was adhered to a Sugarplum cardbase.

I added some dots to the space sky, with a white gelly roll pen. I glued some googly eyes to the aliens and added highlights to the images.
