HOPE YOU HAVE A SUBLIME BIRTHDAY (2)
For this birthday card, I used the You Are Sublime stamp set from Lawn Fawn, together with the Bayou Backdrop die.
I started by die cutting the Bayou Backdrop die from watercolor cardstock. I ink blended with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink and with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink. I used the same two Oxide Ink for the background.
I wanted to create rays of Sunshine coming from the top. I took the Rays stencil from Tim Holtz and used Yeti Ink for blending. To soften the white, I rubbed a paper towel over it.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Scuba diver: C2 - C3/ BG15 - BG18/ Y38 - YR04/ C5/ E000 - E11
Lantern fish: B91 - B95/ Y38 - YR04
Big fish: BG15 - BG18/ YG41 - G02
Little fish: Y38 - YR04
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto a Peacock cardbase.

AHOY, MATEY YOU ARRRRGH AWESOME (2)
I tried something new. On my Instagram stories, I let my followers pick my supplies. They could pick the stamp set, the coloring medium and the color palette. And they didn't pick what expected them to pick. For this card, they choose for me to work with the Ahoy, Mate stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and they wanted me to use a bright color palette wist red, oranges and yellows.
I started by stamping all my images onto watercolor paper. Here is a list of all the Zig Markers I used for my images:
050 - Yellow/ 052 - Bright Yellow/ 070 - Orange/ 020 - Red
041 - Light Green/ 026 - Light Pink/ 036 - Light Blue
060 - Brown/ 062 - Dark Brown
I fussy cut the images and went over to my background. I used the 020 - Red marker to create a 'ground' for the images to stand on. I also wanted to create some splatter. I used two Distress Ink colors for that: Mustard Seed and Candied Apple.
I ran the panel through my Cuttlebug, using the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I adhered all the images to the background and added this to a piece of Knock on Wood paper. I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.
I really enjoyed creating a card this way, letting my follower choose my supplies. I will definitely do it again in the future.

SEALED WITH A KISS (2)
For this wedding card, I used the Sealed with a Kiss stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting a square from a piece of Let's Polka in the Meadow paper. I used the Outside In Stitched Square Stackables for this. This is the window where I'm going to create my scene.
For the sky portion inside this window, I ink blended two Distress Ink colros together. I used Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry. I die cut a slightly curved hill, with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders.
I stamped the two seals and the little speech bubble. I colored the seals with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Seals: W0 - W2/ W3 - W5
I fussy cut the images. I stamped a banner from Bannertastic. I used Ballet Slippers Ink and Bubblegum Ink to give it some color.
I assembled the card and adhered the panel onto a Blue Jay cardbase. I added some white dots to the seals and my card is done.
This card didn't take me very long. Really simple to make.

IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY, ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS (4)
I created another birthday card with the Village Shops stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started on die cutting and blending all the elements for my scene. I die cut mountains with the Stitched Mountain Borders, from Narwhal cardstock. I ink blended the tops with Iced Spruce Distress Ink. The trees were die cut with Stitched Tree Borders. For this border I used Chocolate Bar cardstock and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. For the tree tops I used Noble Fir cardstock and Cilantro cardstock. I blended them with Pine Needles Distress Ink and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. The hill was die cut with the Stitched Hillside Borders from Cilantro cardstock and blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.
For the sky, I took the Radiating Rays stencil from My Favorite Things. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber to ink blend.
I stamped the shop images and some little elements. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Shops: R14 - R46/ Y38 - YR04/ Y02 - Y08/ R81 - R83
Windows: YG41
Plant: E08 - E18/ YG41 - G02
Bench: E41 - E43
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment, which is my favorite of the moment. I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.
What a great looking scene.

KEEP SWIMMING (4)
For this encouragement card, I used the Ocean Fun stamp set from My Favorite Things, to create an underwater themed card.
I wanted to create a wavy background. i used the Drifts & Hill stencil. You can create hills with this stencil, but also waves. I took some Salty Ocean Distress Ink and blended it very softly onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. I actually intended to do this with Distress Oxide Inks, but it didn't give me the soft look I wanted.
For the ground, I used Antique Linen Distress Ink. I added some splatter to it, with Walnut Stain Distress Ink
I stamped the images, all with Lawn Fawn Inks. I used two colors for each image. Here are the ink colors I used:
Swordfish: Manatee Ink + Hippo Ink
Little fish: Butter Ink + Sunflower Ink
Big fish: Sunflower Ink + Carrot Ink
Jellyfish: Moonstone Ink + Forget-Me-Not Ink
Crab: Wild Rose Ink + Lobster Ink
I used some greenery images from the In Bloom stamp, also from MFT. I stamped those in Cilantro Ink and Freshly Cut Grass Ink
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.
I think creating ocean scenes is in my top 5 of favorite cards to create.

I made a friendship card with the Puddle Jumper stamp set from My Favorite Things.
I started on the background. For the sky I used Iced Spruce Distress Ink. I die cut a cloud with the Puffy Cloud Borders from Lawn Fawn. For the grass I used the Meadow Borders and the Grassy Border die, both from Lawn Fawn. I ink blended these grass borders with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink.
I stamped the image and colored it with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E53 - E55
Hair: W5 - W7
Coat: BG15 - BG18

I fussy cut the image and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added some rain onto the sky. I also added some highlights to the umbrella. I adhered the panel onto a Peacock cardbase.
This stamp set, plus the Rain or Shine set, is my favorite from My Favorite Things at the moment.

YOU'RE JUST GREAT (1)
It's been a while since I last used the Hello Chum stamp set from Avery Elle. But I had an awesome idea, so decided to revisit it.
I wanted to create a watercolor background. I took a slightly wider paint brush and made brush strokes from left to right with Mustard Seed Distress Ink that I watered down. This background was literally done within a minute. I set it aside to dry.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Shark: C0 - C2 - 0/ W7
Surf board: BG15 - BG18/ Y02 - Y08
Worm: R01 - R22
Fishing rod: BG15
I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the watercolor panel. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto a Peacock cardbase.
A very clean and simple card, but it really packs a punch!

YOU'RE ONE IN A CHAMELEON (1)
For this clean and simple friendship card, I used the One in a Chamelon mini stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
For the background I did some really simple ink blending. I used the color Ripe Persimmon and blended from the middle towards the outside. Using a really light hand, to prevend it from getting too dark. I added some water drops and dabbed them off with a paper towel. I also adde Ripe Persimmon onto an acrylic block with some water. I used a paint brush to splatter this onto the panel.
I stamped the chameleon and the branch. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Chameleon: YG06 - G05/ Y02 - Y08
Branch: E53 - E55 - E57
I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the panel. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto a piece of Let's Polka in the Dark paper.
I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase and added some Nuvo Crystal Drops as a finishing touch in three different colors: Dandelion Yellow, Apple Green and Ripened Pumpkin.
Less is more in this case.

IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY, ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS (3)
I created this colorful birthday card with the Village Shops stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
For the background I wanted to use the Radiating Rays stencil from MFT. I first applied some Squeezed Lemonade Ink. Then with the stencil, I added Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral and again Squeezed Lemonade. To soften it a bit, I applied each color again, without the stencil and without reinking the blending tool. I added water drops and dabbed them off with a paper towel.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Shops: YG06 - G05/ B02 - BV05/ Y02 - Y06/ Y38 - YR68/ BV000 BV02/ R14 - R46/ R83 - R81
Ice cream truck: R14 - R46/ R83 - R81/ Y38 - YR68/ B02 - BV05/ W5 - W7
Open sign: W5 - W7/ Y02 - Y06
Clouds + windows: C0
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I adhered a piece of Let's Polka in the Meadow paper to the bottom of the panel. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto a Peacock cardbase.
I just love using Rainbow colors and they look fantastic on this card!

YOU'RE THE SWEETEST (2)
I was inspired by Nichol Spohr for this card. I used the I Scream, You Scream die set for this.
I die cut a frame, using the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames. I adhered this to a piece of a Gotta Have Gingham paper.
I die cut all the ice cream elements from Lawn Fawn cardstocks. Here are the cardstock colors I used: Vanilla Malt, Chocolate Bate, Paper bag, Chili Pepper, Noble Fir, Ballet Slippers and Black Licorice.
I assembled all the ice cream elements together and added them to the panel.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, from Sweet Friends, onto a piece of vellum. I added it to my panel. The panel was adhered to a Chili Pepper cardbase.
As a finising touch I added some white highlights to the images.
I always lovebing inspired by fellow crafters. Nichol Spohr is the one that inspires me the most.

SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU (2)
For the new Lawn Fawnatics challenge I created this love themed card. The theme for this challenge is "Flowers, Florals and Foliage". I used the Some Bunny stamp set for this card.
I started by masking off a part of my panel. I repeatedly stamped two flowers from the Easter party stamp set. I colored these flowers with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Flowers: V01 - V12/ Y02 - Y06/ YG61
I stamped the two bunnies and colored them with Copic Markers as well. Here are the colors I used:
Bunnies:C0 - C2/ E53 - E55/ RV10 - R83
I fussy cut the images. I die cut two borders from Watercolor Wishes paper, using the Stitched Borders set and the Stitched Scalloped Borders set.
I assembled the card, stamped the sentiment and added some white dots and highlights to the images with a gelly roll pen. I added the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase and rounded off the bottom right corner.
Please make sure to check out the new challenge on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog and join me and my fellow Desgin Team members.
