YOU DESERT THE BEST FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY (SORRY I'M RUNNING LATE) (1)

For today's card, I used the Critters in the Desert stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I already used it a ton this year, it's such a unique set.

For the background, I created a gradient with Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. 

I die cut the Cactus Border from white cardstock and layered a piece of Paperbag cardstock on top. 

I colored the border and the stamped images all with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors:

Cacti + succulents: YG00 - YG03/ G24 - G28/ YG06 - YG09

Snake: Y21 - YR23

Roadrunner: E71 - E74 - E79/ Y21 - YR23

Rocks: W0 - W3 - W5

Hats: Y06 - Y15/ Y17 - YR16/ R32 - R35/ V22 - V25

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped a super long sentiment into the sky of the card. As a finishing touch, I used a white gel pen to add highlights to all the images.

LET'S TACO 'BOUT YOUR BIRTHDAY (5)

I'm on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog today, for the Fun with Food challenge. I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn sets, creating a Mexican themed birthday party. I used Year Nine, Let's Toast, You're the Zest, Critters in the Desert, Virtual Friends Add-On and Year Seven. 

For the background I used a piece of paper from the Fruit Salad paperpad. I added a piece of No. 2 Pencil cardstock to the bottom.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. 

Taco: Y21 - YR23/ E55 - E57/ R05 - R46/ Y15 - Y17/ YG09 - G17

Cactus: YG09 - G17

Banners: R05 - R46/ Y15 - Y17/ YG09 - G17/ Y38 - YR68

Avocado: E55 - E57/ YG00 - YG03 - YG13/ YG09 - Y17

Lime: YG00 - YG03 - YG13/ YG09 - G17/ E55 - E57

Hat: R05 - R46/ Y15 - Y17/ Y38 - YR68/ YG00 - YG03 - YG13

I die cut or fussy cut the images. I also die cut the word 'taco', using the Henry's ABC's die set. I used Cilantro, Chili Pepepr, Fake Tan and Sunflower cardstock. 

I assembled the card, also stamping the rest of the seniment around the word 'taco'. As a finishing touch, I added white highlights with a gel pen.

FEEL BETTER, HOPE YOU'RE BACK ON YOUR FEET SOON (1)

Today, the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge went live and it's all about food. So let's have fun with it. I decided to use a bunch of the food themed sets from Lawn Fawn: Year Fourteen, Berry Special, Aloha, So Smooth, Yo'u're the Zest and Get Well Before 'n After.

For the background, I used the banana pattern from the Fruit Salad paperpad. I added a strip of Vanilla Malt cardstock to the bottom. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Banana"Y15 - Y17/ Y02 - Y06/ E53 - E57

Grapes: YG00 - YG03 - YG13/ G43 - G46/ B41 - B45

Strawberries: R05 - R46/ G21 - G28

I die cut or fussy cut the images and assembled the card. 

I die cut a banner, using the Stitched Seniment Banners and Sunflower cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, from the Get Well Before 'n After stamp set. 

I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the images.

I GOT YOU DESERT, OOPS I MEANT DESSERT (1)

The Critters in the Desert stamp set from Lawn Fawn has this really cute sentiment, that I've been wanting to use ever since I got the set. So, today is the day 😀

For the sky, I wanted to create a sunset type of color scheme. I used Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink, as a gradient. 

I die cut the Cactus Border and used two Distress Oxide Ink combos. For the cacti I used Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron. For the succulents I used Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. This last combination I used way to little, I love these greens. 

For the desert ground, I used a piece of Paperbag cardstock. I added white and brown watercolor splatters, to make it look more textured. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Tortoise: E15 - E18/ BG93 - BG96/ YG61 - YG63 - YG67

Snake: Y21 - YR23

Rocks: W0 - W3 - W5

Succulents: YG00 - YG03
