SENDING YOU SHOWERS OF LOVE (2)

For this encouragement card, I used the Puddle Jumper stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock, slightly narrower than a standar card size. I stamped the boy image three times, in Manatee Ink. I also took the little duck images from Rain or Shine and stamped them. On another piece of white cardstock I stamped the boy once more, with two of the ducklings. These images I colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E53 - E55
Hair: E29 - E57
Rain coat: Y02 - Y06
Pants: B12 - B14
Boots: R14 - R46
Umbrella: B12 - B14/ R14 - R46/ Y02 - Y06/ C3 - C0
Ducklings: Y02 - Y06
Puddle: B00 - 0

I added the panel on a piece of Let's Polka in the Dark cardstock. I adhered the entire panel onto a Sticky Note cardbase. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Chili Pepper cardstock. As a finishing touch I added some dots and highlights with a white gelly roll pen.

This little boy reminds me of the movie "Singin' in the Rain".
