I'M LUCKY TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE YOU (2)

Today is the start of a fun, new theme at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog : Lots of Hearts. I used the Little Envelope Die and the Tiny Gift Box Elephant Add-On die.

For the background I die cut a piece of Speckled Eggshell cardstock with the new Postage Rectangle Stackables dies. I used the coordinating stencil to mask off the outer lines. I ink blended the Candy Hearts Stencils onto it. I used a bunch of Distress Oxide Inks: Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Cracked Pistachio, Shaded Lilac and Festive Berries.

I then die the elephant from Narwhal cardstock and added the inside of his ears with Ballet Slippers. The Envelope and letter were both die cut from Speckled Eggshell and the heart from Raspberry cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment and typed heart onto the letter, using the Love Poems and You're Just My Type stamp sets. I used Lawn Fawn inks for this: Merman, Grape Soda and Bubblegum inks.

I assembled everything and added it all to the stenciled background. I used Raspberry cardstock for the cardbase and added highlights to the images.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (67)

I create an all-die cut card with the Tiny Gift Box Elephant Add-On and the Secret Garden Window. I also used the Tropical Leaves die set. All from Lawn Fawn.

For the window, I used Kraft cardstock. The background was ink blended with Prize Ribbon and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. I added water drops to it. I also die cut a SImple Grassy Hillside Border from Cilantro cardstock, which was ink blended with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

I die cut the elephant and the leaves and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Elephant: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5/ R81 -R83/ E57 - E79

Leaves: YG00 - YG03/ YG06 - G05

Party hat: R05 - R27 - R59/ YG00 - YG03. Y15 - Y17

Heart: R05 - R27 - R59

I assembled the card and I die cut a banner. I colored the banner with Y15 and Y17 Copic Markers and heat embossed the sentiment onto it, using white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn.

As a finishing touch, I added some highlights using a white gel pen.

IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY (6)

For this birthday card, I used just dies (aside from the sentiment). I used the Tiny Gift Box Elephant Add-On die set and the Fishtail Banner Borders die set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used Mermaid cardstock and Merman Ink for blending. I die cut two cloud borders, with the Puffy Cloud Borders die set.

I die cut the elephant and the banners and colored these element with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Elephant: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5/ E57 - E79/ E11 - E04

Banners: R05 - R27/ Y38 - YR68/ Y15 - Y17/ YG00 - YG03/ BG53 - BG57/ V22 - V25

I assembled the card and stamped the sentiment in Celery Stick Ink. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the banners and the elephant.
