HAPPY BIRTHDAY (49)
I created a birthday card with the Ewe are the Best stamp set from My Favorite Things.
For the background I used Apricot cardstock. I masked off a circle and repeatedly stamped the words 'happy birthday' in Peachy Keen Ink. WHen I remove the mask, you will see the words in a circle.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Sheep: E00 - E11 - E04/ W0 - W3/ W5 - W7
Flowers: YR61 - YR02/ Y11 - Y02/ BG18 - BG72
Balloon: YR61 - YR02
Hat + heart: R32 - R35
I fussy cut the images and adhered them to my background. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock, using again the Peachy Keen ink. I trimmed it to a small strip and added it to the card.
I used a white gelly roll pen to add dots and highlights.

Sunflower + Y15
Raspberry + Aged Magogany Distress Ink/ R32 - R35
Kraft
Sugarplum + BV000 - BV02

For the background I used Mermaid cardstock and Broken China Oxide Ink.
I used the Happy Script die and die cut it from Sunflower cardstock. The word 'easter' was stamped onto Sugarplum cardstock and trimmed to a tiny strip. I assembled the card.
As a finishing touch I added Glitter Lacquer to the dots on the mushroom house.
Super bold colors and I love this look.

CONGRATS MOM (1)
I'm on the Lawn Fawn Blog today with this Magic Iris card. I used the Swan Soirée stamp set for this birthday card, that I made specially for my mother who just celebrated her 64th birthday.
Since I don't have the Cover Plate Add-On yet, I have to make sure the Magic Iris blends into the background. I used Oxide Inks for the background, the outside ring and the 'sausages' that form the iris that opens and closes. I used three colors: Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Blueprint Sketch. I added splatter with Blueprint Sketch.
I also die cut grass, using the Meadow Borders die set. I ink blended the grass with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Oxide Inks. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the front grass border.
After I assembled the ring, I stamp the images. I colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Big swans: W0 - W2 - 0/ Y15 - Y17
Baby swans: W0 - W2 - W3/ Y15 - Y17
Lilly pads: YG03 - YG13
Lotus: R01 - R32 - R35
Cattails: E55 - E57/ BG93 - BG96
Log: E53 - E55 - E57
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I added most of the images to the outside ring of the Magic Iris. For the tab, I used Blue Jay and Peacock cardstock.
It's an effort, but when it's done it is totally worth your time. I really love how it turned out.
Make sure to check out the blogpost at Lawn Fawn.

THANKS (6)
I created a thank you card with the Watering Can and Flowers die set from Hero Arts.
For the background I used Kraft cardstock. I added splatters onto it, using Chinese White watercolor and gold watercolor.
I die cut the elements from white cardstock and used Copic Markers to color them. Here are the colors I used:
Watering Can: R32 - R35 - R39/ W0 - W3
Tullips: YR00 - YR61 - YR02/ BV02 - BV13/ YG03 - YG13
Leaves: YG03 - YG13
I assembled the watering can and adhered it onto my background with foam tape. I die cut the word 'thanks' from white cardstock, using the Thanks Word die from Paper Smooches.
I adhered the word to the panel and rounded off the bottomt right corner.
It's only a few simple die cuts, but you can create some many great designs with these.
