TIME TO SHELL-EBRATE (3)

I'm at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog today with this Summertime Fun challenge card. You still have a few days to join us. I used the How You Bean? stamp set and its Seashell Add-On set. I added some mice from Bubbles of Joy to it.

For the scene, I wanted to create a beach. I die cut a piece of Kraft cardstock with one of the Stitched Hillside Borders dies. I added splatter to this, with Kuretaki Gansi Tambi watercolors. I also die cut water with one of these dies, ink blending it with Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks.

For the sky I used Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks. 

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Marker:

Jar: BG000 - B00

Lid: C2 - C5

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ E04 - E11

Shells: YR30 - YR31/ R32 - R35/ B34 = B45/ V22 - V25/ W2 - W5

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment. I colored the open letters with Y38 and YR68.

I used a white gel pen to add highlights and dots to the images.

SEASON'S GREETINGS (14)

I made a cute cat-themed Christmas card, for my cat-loving friends. I used the Pawsitive Christmas set, together with Purrfectly Wicked, Winter Birds and Winter Birds Add-On. All from Lawn Fawn. 

For the background I used Moonstone cardstock and added clouds with a stencil and Forget-Me-Not Ink. I added white splatter using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Cats: E31 - E33 - E35/ E57 - E29/ W5 - W7/ E04

Branches: E57 - E29

Hats + ornaments: R05 - R46/ R32 - R35/ BG11 - BG13

Stocking: R05 - R46/ BG11 - BG13

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added white highlights with a gel pen.

For this Valentine's Day card, I used the Octopi My Heart stamp set, together with the Giant XOXO die and the You are Sublime and Ocean Shell-fie stamp sets, all from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used the Drifts & Hills stencil from My Favorite Things and I ink blended with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. 

I die cut a Stiched Hillside Border from Kraft cardstock and ink blended with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink. I added white and dark brown splatter, using Gansai Tambi watercolor. 

I die cut the Giant XOXO from Peacock and Ballet Slippers cardstock and layered them together. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Octopi: R81 - R83 - R85/ V22 - V25

Bows: BG45 - BG49

Rocks: W0 - W3 - W5

Plants + corals:  R81 - R83 - R85/ V22 - V25/ BG45 - BG49

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the sentiment and images.

I created this Halloween card for the Monochromatic challenge on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog. I used the Booyah stamp set, together with Purrfectly Wicked. 

For the background I did some ink blended, using Shaded Lilac and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks. I added splatter, using Gansai Tambi watercolors. 

For the ground and sentiment I used the Watercolor Wishes paper pad. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: 

Cauldron: B66 - B79/ V04 - V06

Books + potions + hats: B66 - B79/ V04 - V06/ B60 - B66/ V91 - V95

Stool: V04 - V06

Spoon: V91 - V95

Broom: B66 - B79/ B60 - B66

Shelf: B60 - B66

I die cut and fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I added white highlights to the images, using a gel pen.

HAPPY WINTER, HOPE YOUR DAY IS A HIT (1)

For this Christmas card, I used the Snowball Fight stamp set from Lawn Fawn. 

For the background/ sky, I ink blended Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. I added white splatters to the sky, making it look like falling snow, using Gansai Tambi watercolors. 

I die cut two hills from white cardstock, using the Stitched Hillside Borders die set.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ W0 - W3/ E04 - E11

Flag: W3 - W5/ R46 - R59

Scarfs + hats: B24 - B26/ BG53 - BG57/ R27 - R59

Snow mouse + ice blocks + snowballs: C0 - C3

Sentiment: B24 - B26/ BG53 - BG57/ R27 - R59

I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I added the sentiment, under the color sentiment. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the images.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN (17)

In honor of their new release, I decided to share a card with you with one of Lawn Fawn's newest sets, one of the things that was kindly send to my by them: Fangtastic Friends. I just love a good Halloween set and we haven't had a bat-themed set before. So I'm super excited about this. I also used one fo their new stencils.

For the background, I used the Nighttime Sky Stencil and a cloud stencil. I masked of the moon, where I want it to go later. I added clouds to the background using Villainous Potion Oxide Ink. I smoothed the colors with Shaded Lilac Oxide Ink and later went over it with Villainous Potion and the stencil again. 

I added splatter to the background, using one of the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors paints. 

I switched over to the moon part of the stencil and very softly blended the moon using Manataa Ink. I also added the little craters to the moon.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. The colors I used, you can see below:

Bats: W3 - W5 - W7/ E00 - E11

Spiders: W5 - W7

Moth: E41 - E43 - E44/ E74 - E79/ E31 - E35

Pumpkin treat baskets: Y17 - YR04

Branch: E31 - E35/ G43 - G46

I die cut the images. I also die cut the Giant Happy Halloween die from silver Sprakle cardstock.

I assembled the card and added highlights with a white gel pen. 

This is such a great set. I will also get the add-on set for these cute bats. It's just too cute to pass up on.

LET'S TOAST TO YOUR BIRTHDAY (1)

I created this camp scene with a birthday theme. I used the S'More the Merrier stamp set from Lawn Fawn for this card.

I die cut the panel from watercolor cardstock, using the Large Mini Slimline Stackables. For the background I ink blended Faded Jeans and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink together. One of my favorite combinations of the moments. 

I die cut another piece, but then from Paperbag cardstock. I added splatter to it, using dark brown and white watercolor paint, from the Gansai Tambi watercolor set. 

I die cut the Grassy Border from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended it with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them all with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Owl: W0 - W3/ W2 - W3 - W5/ Y15 - Y17

Hedgehog: E00 - E21/ E55 - E57 - E29

Fox: E33 - E35/ E000 - E00

Fire: Y15 - Y17/ E57 - E29/ R05 - R27/ Y38 - YR68

NO TRICKS, JUST TREATS, WISHING YOU A TREAT-FILLED DAY (1)

Still one of my favorite Halloween sets: the Happy Howloween stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I come back to it every year and I love dressing those dogs up in costumes. For this card I only used one of the dog images and styled it in three different ways.

For the background I used some Canned Pumpkin cardstock. I don't used this color very often, but thought it would be perfect for this card. I took my clouds stencil from My Favorite Things and ink blended clouds to the background using Yeti Ink. I added some splatter with gold paint.

For the ground I used Kraft cardstock. I stamp the sentiment onto this piece, using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Pumpkin Spice Ink.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Dogs: E25 - E29/ W2 - W3 - W5/ E31 - E35
Bowl: B63 - B66
Pumpkins: Y08 - Y17 - YR04
Costumes: G14 - G05/ B63 - B66
Broom: E25 - E29/ E31 - E35

I fussy cut the images and assembled the card.

WISHING YOU A LIFETIME OF HAPPINESS (1)

I created a baby card (or wedding card) with the Swan Soirée stamp set form Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used Blue Jay cardstock. I ink blended the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink. I splattered some silver and gold paint onto the background, using the Starry Colors watercolors from Gansai Tambi.

I die cut a piece of Mermaid cardstock with the Stitched Simple Wavy Borders. I ink blended the top with Broken China Oxide Ink. I also used the Meadow Borders, which I die cut from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them images. I used Copic Markers and coloring was fairly simple. Here are the colors I used:
Swans: W0 - W3 - 0/ YR21 - Y38
Moon: YR21 - Y38
Cattails: E55 - E57/ YG03 - YG13
Lily pads: YG03 - YG13
Lotus: R35 - R39

I fussy cut the images. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the grass border.

I assembled the card and added highlights with a white gelly roll pen.

I love the night sky.

I created a thank you card with the Watering Can and Flowers die set from Hero Arts.

For the background I used Kraft cardstock. I added splatters onto it, using Chinese White watercolor and gold watercolor.

I die cut the elements from white cardstock and used Copic Markers to color them. Here are the colors I used:
Watering Can: R32 - R35 - R39/ W0 - W3
Tullips: YR00 - YR61 - YR02/ BV02 - BV13/ YG03 - YG13
Leaves: YG03 - YG13

I assembled the watering can and adhered it onto my background with foam tape. I die cut the word 'thanks' from white cardstock, using the Thanks Word die from Paper Smooches.

I adhered the word to the panel and rounded off the bottomt right corner.

It's only a few simple die cuts, but you can create some many great designs with these.

FALALA, HOLIDAY GREETINGS (1)

This is something completely different from what I normally make. I used the Sohcahtoa stamp set from Altenew for this shiny metallic Christmas card.

I took two pieces of Lawn Fawn cardstock, one Chili Pepper and one Noble Fir. I stamped and heat embossed two sizes of triangles onto the cardstock, using gold embossing powder from Ranger.

I used the Starry Colors watercolor set from Gansai Tambi. I used three different colors in the set to watercolor the triangles.

I die cut some Sparkle cardstock with the Falala Script die from Mama Elephant. I stamped and heat embossed the rest of the sentiment onto Fog cardstock. I used the same embossing powder.

As a finishing touch I added some gold stars to the panel.

I really love trying some new styles every once in a while.
