YOU'RE THE AVOCADO TO MY TOAST (3)

Today is the start of another new Lawn Fawnatics challenge. The theme is "clean and simple" and I created this simple card with the Let's Toast stamp set. 

I die cut two rectangles using the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. One from Speckled Eggshell cardstock and the other from Noble Fir cardstock. 

I added some heart on the Noble Fir cardstock, using Noble Fir ink. On the Speckled Eggshell cardstock I stamped some sprinkles with Pizza Crust ink.

I layered these together, but wanted another layers. I die cut a piece of Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper with the Fancy Scalloped Rectanle Stackables.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used;

Avocado: G21 - G24/ BG93 - BG96/ E57 - E29

Toast: E57 - E29/ E41 - E43

Knife: C0 - C3

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Noble Fir ink. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the images.

YOU'RE THE AVOCADO TO MY TOAST (2)

The Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog has a new challenge online. This time the theme is: Fun with Food. I used the Let's Toast stamp set for this clean and simple friendship/ love card.

I started by die cutting a piece of Spiffy Speckles pattern paper with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I added this piece onto a a piece of Chocolate Bar cardstock, that is slightly larger.

I stamped the avocado image five times and colored it with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Avocado: YG11 - YG13/ BG93 - BG96/ E15 - E18

I die cut the avocado images and adhered them onto the Spiffy Speckles background. I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel onto a piece of Really Rainbow Scallops paper. I added the entire panel onto a Chocolate Bar cardbase.

As a finishing touch, I added some highlights to the core of the avocados, using a white gelly roll pen.

YOU'RE THE AVOCADO TO MY TOAST (1)

For this quick love themed card, I used the Let's Toast stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by trimming and die cutting all the element for my scene. I took the Outside In Stitched Hear Stackables and die cut it from Sticky Note cardstock. I also used the Lacy Heart Stackables and die cut this from Kraft cardstock. I layered these two together. This will be the piece where my scene will happen.

For the panel I used a Kraft cardbase and added a piece of Gotta Have Gingham paper to it, that is slighty shorter on the left and right side.

I stamped my images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Avocado: G43 - G46/ BG63 - BG96/ E55 - E57
Toast: E55 - E57/ E41 - E43
Butter: YR31 - YR21/ R22 - R35
Knife: C0 - C3

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Sticky Note cardstock. I stamped in Doe Ink. I trimmed the strip into two, because else it would be too long.

I love the soft colors and the look of this card. It really turned out better than I had in my head!!!
