One of my best friends is having her second baby somewhere in August, so the perfect time for me to create a 'baby on the way' card. I used an oldie, the Plus One stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started on the background panel. I wanted to use a stencil to create a strip. I masked off the area I wanted to stay white. I took the Hearts stencil from Reverse Confetti and temporarely adhered it. I took three Distress Inks: Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon. I blended the colors into the panel with a blending tool.
I stamped the sentiment with Hippo Ink.
I stamped the stork image and colored it with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Stork: C0 - C2/ Y17 - YR16
Sack: YR00 - YR61
I fussy cit the image and adhered it to the panel with foam tape. I added the panel onto a Ballet Slippers cardbase and rounded off teh bottom right corner.
This was a really simple and quick card to make.

HAPPY DAY (2)
I made this birthday card with the The Cat's Meow stamp set from Mama Elephant, combining it with the Grid Window die.
I started on the background. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Distress Ink to blend. I die cut the Grid Window and adhered it over top with foam tape.
I stamped all the cats with their accessories and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Cats + mouse: E57 - E29/ E31 - E33/ E41 - E43/ W5 - W7/ W2 - W3
Ears + noses: E04
Accessories: Y17 - Y38/ C3 - C5/ YG11 - G21/ R22 - R35/ E57 - E29
I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the panel. I die cut the word happy, with the Scripty Happy die from Lawn Fawn. I added a little color to the bottom of the die cut word, with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I adhered the word to the panel as well. I stamped and heat embossed the word day, with white embossing powder from Ranger.
I adhered the panel to a Black Licorice cardbase and added Glossy Accents to the word happy. I added some little white stripes and dots to some images, with a white gelly roll pen.
I'm really loving this Grid Window!!!

YOU OCTOPI MY HEART (3)
For this love card, I used the Octopi My Heart stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I repeatedly stamped the octopus in Manatee Ink and the little heart in Ballet Slippers Ink.
I stamped the octopus and heart on a seperate piece of paper and colored the images with Copic Markers. I also stamped a banner from Bannertastic. Here are the colors I used:
Octopus: RV10 - R81 - R83
Heart: R46 - R59
Banner: C0 - C2/ RV10 - R81 - R83
I die cut the octupus and heart with my Cuttlebug and fussy cut the banner. I added the octopus to a circle and zag zag circle. I used the Small Stitched Circle Stackables and the Zig Zag Circle Stackables. The zig zag circle was die cut from Ballet Slippers cardstock.
I assembled the card and added the panel onto a Narwhal cardbase.
I finished quickly, but I love the look of this card.

GIFT BOX (1)
Remember my last post, the card set with the Sweet Friends stamps from Lawn Fawn. I wanted to create a gift box for this. I had two sets of five cards, so I needed to create two boxes. I used the Gift Box die from Lawn Fawn.
I die cut the box from Vanilla Malt cardstock. I wanted to create my own pattern paper. I used the Gingham Bacldrops stamp set to create a plaid pattern. For one of the boxes I used Wild Rose Ink and the other one was stamped with Celery Stick Ink.
I die cut a frame from the top of the boxes, using the Outside In Stitched SCalloped Circle Stackables. I also die cut the little half circles on each side of the box top, so it's easier to open the box.
I adhered some accetate to the back of the frame and assembled both boxes.
I wanted a sentiment on top, so I stamped a banner for both boxes, with the Bannertastic stamp set. I used Wild Rose Ink and Lobster Ink for one and Celerey Stick Ink and Freshly Cut Grass Ink for the other. I fussy cut the banners and adhered them to the boxes.
I put the card sets in the boxes and they are done!
I love these boxes, I think my friends will love this!

Flan: E11 - E33/ E57 - E29
S'more: E57 - E29/ E41 - E43/ E11 - E33

Froyo: E41 - E43/ E29 - E57
Strawberries: R46 - R59/ YG06
I die cut all the images with my Cuttlebug and assembled the cards. I added the panels onto a Paper Bag cardbase.

CONGRATULATIONS (2)
For this congrats card, I used the In Bloom stamp set in combinations with Lawn Fawn inks.
I wanted to create a nice floral panel with all the flowers and greenery. I used several Lawn Fawn Inks and was inspired by a Wes Anderson color pallette. I used: Manatee Ink, Hippo Ink, Ballet Slippers Ink, Bubblegum Ink, Lobster Ink, Cranberry Ink, Moonstone Ink and Doe Ink.
When I finished the pattern, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Paper Bag cardstock. I trimmed the cardstock to a strip and adhered it to the panel with foam tape.
I adhered the panel onto a Paper Bag cardbase and rounded off the tow right corners.
I love creating patterns like this, varying the color pallettes.

YOU'RE THE SPRINKLES ON MY CUPCAKE (1)
There is a new challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics blog. For challenge # 21, the theme is “Mood Board”. You can let yourself be inspired by the images, themes or colors you see on the mood board presented. I designed this Sweet Friends card for the challenge.
I started on the background. I took a piece of watercolor paper and wetted a circular shape onto the paper. I added some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink onto it. I dabbed the water off, to make the pink a little softer. When it dried, I added some pink splatter to the panel.
I stamped the cupcake twice and added a different face on each of them. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hearts: R14 – R17
I stamped sprinkles onto the tops of the cupcakes, in Hippo Ink and Bubblegum Ink. I then die cut the cupcakes with my Cuttlebug.
I stamped the sentiment in Hippo Ink and Bubblegum Ink and assembled the card. I adhered the panel onto a Ballet Slippers cardbase. I rounded off the top right corner.
Please make sure you check the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. You can either be inspired by me and my fellow Design Team Members, or you can just participate yourself. Feel free to join us!

WITH LOVE (3)
I decided to create a sympathy card with the In Bloom stamp set from My Favorite Things.
I started by choosing all the Lawn Fawn Ink colors I wanted to use. I'm only going to use the greenery stamps, no flowers (but the flower buds). I used a rectangle panel to stamp on and made a little mark onto the middle of the card. This won't be visible in the end.
I used my MISTI for the stamping. When I positioned a stamp, I stamped this image four times. Each time I rotated the paper, so the stamp will stay in its position.
All the ink colors I used: Celery Stick Ink, Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Noble Fir Ink, Wild Rose Ink, Doe Ink, Minty Fresh Ink.
I die cut a circle with the Small Stitched Circle Stackables and stamped the sentiment onto it with Wild Rose Ink and Hippo Ink. The sentiment is from Fab Flowers.
I adhered the circle to the panel with foam tape. I added the panel onto a Guava cardbase.
It's so easy to create beautiful cards with this floral stamp set. Loving it!
