For today’s ocean themed card I chose to use
the no-line coloring technique again. It’s been a while. I used the Ocean
Shell-fie stamp set together with the Cutie Pie stamp set, both from Lawn Fawn.
For the background, I used the Ocean Waves
stencil and two Oxide Ink colors: Cracked Pistachio and Broken China. I also
used these colors to add splatter.
I stamped the images in the Ink On 3 Fade Out
Ink and colored everything with the Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are all
the colors I used:
Octopi: 302 – Blue Haze + 032 – Persian Blue/
045 – Pale Green + 041 – Light Green/ 806 – Pale Violet + 080 – Violet
Jellyfish: 806 – Pale Violet + 080 – Violet
Fish: 021 – Light Carmine + 022 – Carmine Red/
052 – Bright Yellow + 050 – Yellow
Clam: 806 – Pale Violet + 080 – Violet/ 230 –
Pale Rose + 220 – Tea Rose
Pie:
076 – Medium Beige + 072 – Beige/ 096 – Mid Grey + 091 – Light Grey
Rocks: Mid Grey + 091 – Light Grey
Camera: Mid Grey + 091 – Light Grey/ 302 –
Blue Haze + 032 – Persian Blue/ 076 – Medium Beige + 072 – Beige
Plants: 049 – Green Shadow + 042 – Turquoise Green
I die cut all the images and assembled the
card. I stamped the sentiment in Abandoned Coral Oxide Ink.
