A LITTLE TOUCAN OF APPRECIATION (1)
For this thank you card, I used the Hello Toucan stamp set and Jungle Frame die from Hero Arts.
I die cut the Jungle Frame twice, from Cilantro and Noble Fir cardstock. For the Cilantro piece, I also added a little bit of Lucky Clover Distress Ink.
For the background, I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink and the Clouds stencil from My Favorite Things. I later stamped the sentiment onto the background.
I stamped two of the toucan images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Toucans: W5 - W7/ C0 - C3 - 0/ Y15 - Y38/ BG01 - BV05
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I layered the two frames onto each other, adding the front one with foam tape. I turned it around, so it looks like you're looking into the jungle.
To finish the card, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in the colors Dandelion Yellow, Red Berry and Ripened Pumpkin. I adhered the panel onto a Sunflower cardbase.
These toucan images are just too cute and I LOVE that Jungle Frame so much!

I started by die cutting the Peekaboo Backdrop from some Blue Jay cardstock. For the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks, because I wanted bold colors. I used Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio. I added some water drops to it, which I dabbed off with a dry cloth. I also added some Chinese White paint.
For the sand, I used the Stitched Hillside Borders and Paper Bag cardstock. I used Ground Espresso Distress Ink to add some splatter to it.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

I stamped the images. Here are the ink colors I used:
Palm Trees: Doe Ink + Ground Espresso Distress Ink/ Celery Stick Ink + Noble Fir Ink
Grass: Celery Stick Ink + Freshly Cut Grass Ink
The hammock I colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

JUST SWINGIN' BY TO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY (1)
For this birthday card, I kept the scene failry simple. Because I have to do a lot of coloring. I used the Thanks a Bunch Monkeys stamp set from Hero Arts.
For the sky, I used Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. For the grass, I used the Grassy Hillside Borders. I die cut one of the borders from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended it with Lucky Clover Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment onto the grassy border.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Although the layout is very simple, it was pretty time consuming since there was so much coloring.

CRAFTY HAUL (34)
I'm a huge Lawn Fawn fan and most products I work with are by that company. But every once in a while, I like to purchase from other companies as well. Since an online craft shop had a sale and new Hero Arts supplies were also available at another site, I got some Hero Arts produtcs. Here is what I got.
I got this Coloring Layering Palm Tree stamp set. It's a great scene building stamp set, but can also work very well on its own. You can layer the several stamps to create a realistic and dimensional look.
This die set, called Jungle Frame, is just amazing. It creates this amazing frame with leaves and plants, to make a jungle themed card. I can image die cutting it from two different tones of green and layering them on top of each other.
The Hello Toucan set is just adorable. The different toucan images are just great and I love this bird, so I can't wait to start coloring them. It can work perfectly with that Jungle Frame die.
The Christmas Toys set was on sale, in a bundle with the coordinating dies. It's going to be a while for me to use them, since it's only summer. But I really already have a bunch of ideas for this stamp set.
I don't have any monkey stamps, so when I saw the Thanks a Bunch Monkeys set, I just needed to have it. I love those cute monkey images and those vines are really cool to build your scene.
Happy crafting!!!

YOU'RE ONE IN A MELON (2)
I turned the popsicles from the I Scream, You Scream die set, into melon favored ones for this friendship card.
I started by die cutting all the elements. I used several Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Chili Pepper, Cilantro, Vanilla Malt, Kraft and Black Licorice.
I assembled both popsicles and adhered them to a piece of Spiffy Speckles paper. I stamped one piece of the sentiments onto Cilantro cardstock and trimmed it into a small strip. The rest of the sentiment I stamped directly onto the background, using Lobster Ink and the Violet's ABC's stamp set.
I added some die cut hearts, from the Hearts die set and Guava cardstock. I scattered around the popsicles. I adhered the panel onto a Chili Pepper cardbase and added some highlights with a white gelly roll pen.
Super simple to create, but so different from all the other cards I created with this die set.

LIFE IS FULL OF UPS AND DOWNS, LET'S ROLL WITH IT TOGETHER (1)
I created this encouragement card with some older stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I used Coaster Critters, Village Shops and Ahoy Matey.
For the scene, I wanted to create brick paths. I die cut some hills, using the Stitched Hillside Borders and Apricot cardstock. I ink blended some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink onto it, with the Small Brick Wall Stencil from My Favorite Things.
Behind each brick path, I wanted to grass and one border in the front. I used Grassy Hillside Borders and the Grassy Border die. I die cut them from Cilantro cardstock and softly ink blended the tops of the grass blades with Lucky Clover Distrss Ink.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the background and used Oxide Inks for the sky. I used Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean Oxide Inks for this. I first used Blueprint Sketch instead of Salty Ocean, but decided that I didn't like it.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Rollercoaster: C0 - C3
Karts: R29 - R35/ YG41 -G02/ RV10 - R83/ C0 - C3/ W5 - W7
Shops: C0 - C3/ E55 - E57/ W5 - W7/ R29 - R35/ YG41 -G02/ RV10 - R83/ B00
