WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR (3)

For the last Lawn Fawnatics Challenge of the year, it's all about the New Year. I don't really make New Years cards, but one very well-know Christmas song has 'happy new year' in it. So I decided to create a card with penguins singing this. I used Here We Go A-Waddling and Penguin Party together. 

I die cut a panel with the Large Slimline with Sliders die. I ink blended this piece with Cracked Pistachio and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. 

I die cut some Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock using the Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders. I layered this onto the background with foam tape. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Penguins: W3 - W5 - W7/ Y15 - Y17 - YR16

Igloo: C0 - C3/ E55 - E57/ R05 - R27/ YG09 - G28

Lamp posts: Y15 - Y17 - YR16

Wreaths: R05 - R27/ YG09 - G28

String of lights: YG09 - G28/  Y15 - Y17 - YR16/ YG00 - YG03

Signs: C0 - C3/ R05 - R27/ E55 - E57

Winter accessories: C0 - C3/ R05 - R27/ YG00 - YG03/ YG09 - G28/ R01 - R22

Musical instruments: C0 - C3/ R05 - R27/ YG00 - YG03/ YG09 - G28/ E55 - E57/ Y15 - Y17 - YR16

I die cut and fussy cut all the images. I adhered them to the scene. I stamped the sentiment and added snow to the sky, using a white gel pen. I also added highlights to the images with this pen.
