CONGRATS, SHAKE YOUT TAIL FEATHERS! (2)

The Peacock Before 'n After stamp set, from Lawn Fawn, I haven't used in a while. I decided to pull it out again and combine it with some newer stamp sets for this birthday card.

For the background, I needed some clouds. I used a cloud stencil and ink blended with two Distress Oxide Ink colors; Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch.

I die cut the Grassy Border from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended the edges of the blades with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images. I also used images from Eggstraordinary Easter, Toucan Do It, Toadally Awesome and Virtual Friends Add-On. I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here is a list of all the colors I used:

Peacock: BG53 - BG57/ G00 - BG34/ YG00 - YG03/ V04 - V06/ Y15 - Y17

Birds: Y15 - Y17/ YR04 - R08

Leaves: YG00 - YG03/ YG08 - G28

Branches: E31 - E33 - E35: YG00 - YG03/ YG08 - G28

Banner + party hats: BG53 - BG57/ G00 - BG34/ V04 - V06

Log: E31 - E33 - E34

Flowers: V04 - V06/ Y15 - Y16

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the grass, using white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. As a finishing touch I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the stamped images.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (69)

For this birthday card, I used the Just Plane Awesome stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the sky, I wanted to create clouds. I wanted to do something different from a standard blue sky, so I used Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks for blending. I really love this soft look on the sky.

For the grass, I die cut the Grassy Border die from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended the edges with Lucky Cover Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ W2 - W5/ E11 - E04/ G00 - BG34/ YR30 - YR31/ BG11 - BG13

Clouds: C0 - C3

Paper planes + papers: G00 - BG34/ YR30 - YR31

I die cut the images. I stamped some of the trails with Manatee Ink and also die cut those to add to the card. The trail with the sentiment was stamped directly onto the background. I assembled the card. As a finishing touch, I added highlights with a white gel pen.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY (1)

I'm on the Lawn Fawn blog today with this Mother's Day card, using the new Just Plane Awesome stamp set, together with the Just Plane Awesome Sentiments stamp set.

For the background I used a cloud stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I used the same ink to add splatter.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ E04 - E11/ BG000 - BG11

Paper planes: Y15 - Y17/ R27 - R59/ BG13 - BG11/ B23 - B26

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the swirly lines in Manatee Ink. Only the one with the sentiment was stamped in Jet Black Ink.

I used a white gel pen to add highlights.

HAVE A RELAXING BIRTHDAY (6)

With summer coming, I decided to create a pool themed card. I used the Pool Party stamp set and the Stitched Pond Frame die set.

For the background, I used the Really Rainbow Scallopes pattern paper. I die cut the frame of the pond (in this case pool) from Narwhal cardstock. The inside I ink blended with Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Inks. I added water drops to this, to make it look like actual water.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Cat: W0 - W2 - W3 - W7

Sloth: E71 - E74 - E79/ W3 - W7/ E11 - E04

Llama: E11 - E04/ W3 - W7/ E41 - E43 - E44

Goggles: RV32 - RV34/ B91 - B95

Flip flops: BG45 - BG49/ RV32 - RV34

Floatie: BG45 - BG49/ RV32 - RV34

Towel: B91 - B95/ V22 - V25

Ball: V22 - V25/ B91 - B95/ RV32 - RV34

I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Deep Sea Ink and added white highlights with a gel pen.

HAPPY BEE-DAY MY FRIEND (1)

I created this birthday card with the Magic Iris Beehive Add-On die set.

For the background, I did some ink blending, using a cloud stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.

I die cut all the elements from white cardstock, because I wanted to color everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Hive: YR21 - YR23/ C5 - C7

Bees: W7/ YR30 - YR31/ B91 - B95

Branch: E31 - E33 - E35

Leaves: G82 - G85

Flowers: YR30 - YR31/ B91 - B95

I assembled the card and heat embossed the sentiment inside the beehive.

I added some of the trails, from Just Plane Awesome Add-On, with Manatee Ink.

THANKS FOR BEE-ING MY FRIEND (2)

I created this cute friendship card with the Hive Five stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I also used Den Sweet Den, Toucan Do It, A Bug Deal, Just Plane Awesome and Just Plane Awesome Add-On.

For the background I did some clouds, which was ink blended with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I also added some splatter with the same color.

I die cut the Grassy Border twice and ink blended these borders with Rustic Wilderness and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. A new favorite green combo.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used for this card:

Bears: E71 - E74 - E79/ E41 - E43

Bees: YR30 - YR31/ R35 - R39/ B91 - B92

Hive: C5 - C7/ YR21 - YR23

Branch + honey dipper: E31 - E33 - E35

Flowers: G82 - G85/ YR21 - YR23/ YR30 - YR31/ R35 - R39/ B91 - B95

Honey pot: YR21 - YR23/ YR30 - YR31 - R35 - R39

I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped th sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The trails behind the bees were stamped in Manatee Ink.

I really ejoy using this set during spring time. It was officially released this week, before it was only released as a crafting kit.

YOU'RE AWESOME, WOO-HOO! (1)

For this fun friendship card, I used the new Just Plane Awesome stamp set from Lawn Fawn, out as of today!

For the background, I used a piece of Stripes 'n Sprinkles pattern paper. The green one. At the bottom I added a strip of Woodgrain cardstock.

I stamped the images and also used images from Just My Type and Love Poems. Here are all the Copic Markers I used for coloring:

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ E04 - E11/ W0 - W3 - W5

Desk: E31 - E33 - E35/ W0 - W3

Papers: G00 - BG34/ BG72 - BG18/ Y15 - Y17

Planes: G00 - BG34/ BG72 - BG18/ R35 - E39

Typewriter: W0 - W5/ BG72 - BG18/ R35 - R39/ G00 - BG34

Desk lamp: G00 - BG34/ R35 - R39/ Y15 - Y17

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and assembled the card. The sentiment was stamped onto the little paper coming out of the typewriter.

Super fun card, which I'm going to gift my friend Matty today.

SENDING LOTS OF LOVE (2)

Another new challenge and this time it's only dies. I love this challenge, I really enjoy creating cards with no stamps (aside from the sentiment) and using die cuts only. I used the Stitched Teapot together with the Lucky Clover die set. I realized that I hadn't used those clovers that often yet, so a perfect moment to add them to this card.

For the background I used Stripes 'n Sprinkles pattern paper, from the paper pad. All the die cuts were cut from white cardstock, because I watned to color them. That's my current favorite way to do die cuts these days: color them with Copic Markers.

Banner: R22 - R35 - R37

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip cardstock, which I also colored. I used a white gelpen to add highlights to the die cuts.

HOME SWEET HOME (4)

I created this cute home sweet home scene, using the Happy Village stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I also used Tiny Friends, Tiny Spring Friends, Tiny Christmas and Winter Village.

I used the Slide On Over die set and die cut it from a piece of Spiffy Speckles pattern paper. I adhered it to some Paperbag cardstock, with foam tape.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

People: E31 - E33 - E35/ E57 - E79/ W5 - W7/ W3 - W5/ W0 - W3/ E00 - E04/ G82 - G85/ B91 - B93 - B95/ YR21 - Yr23/ BG11

Houses; C0 - C3/ C5 - C7/ G82 - G85/ B91 - B93 - B95

Dog: E35 - E37

Tres: E31 - E33 - E35/ G82 - G85

Car: C-0 - C3/ C5 - C7/ YR21 - YR23/ BG11

Cat: W3 - W5 - W7

I die cut and fussy cut the images. I adhered all the images to the background and added a little speech bubble with the sentiment. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the images.

YOU'RE THE SWEETEST FRIEND (2)

It's been a while since I last used the I Scream, You Scream die set from Lawn Fawn. I created a simple friendship card.

For the background I used a piece of Perfectly Plaid Spring paper. Because it's a very colorful and bright background, I wanted to dull it a bit. I added a piece of vellum, which was die cut with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.

I die cut the ice cream elements from white cardstock and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used;

Ice cream cone: E31 - E33 - #5/ R27 - R59/ G43 - G46/ R32 - R35

Popsicle: E 21 - E33 - E35/ Y15 - Y17

I assembled the card. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Moonstone cardstock. I added some highlights with a white gelpen.

YOU ARE CUTE AS A BUTTON (1)

Today I'm featured on the Lawn Fawnatics blog, for the "Inspired By..." theme. I was inspired by Tammy Stark, one of the Lawn Fawn design team members, to create this card. I used the How You Bean? Buttons Add-On stamp set, together with Sew Very Mice.

For the background I used one of the pattern papers from What's Sewing On?

I stamped the images and colored eveything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Jar: C0 - C3

Buttons+ banners: YR21 - YR23/ YR30 - YR31/ R01 - R22/ YR61 - YR02

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ E04 - E11

Thimble: C0 - C3

I die cut the images. I also die the word 'button' from Apricot cardstock, using Oliver's Stitched ABCs dies. The thread was stamped in Peachy Keen Ink. I stamped the first part of the sentiment onto Storm Cloud cardstock. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

As a finishing touch, I used a white gel pen for highlights.
