For this travel card I pulled out an oldie and a new set from Lawn Fawn: Critters Down Under and Plane and Simple.
I started on the background, which I watercolored with Distress Inks. I first die cut some watercolor cardstock with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I then started watercoloring. I used Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio for the sky and Mowed Lawn for the grass. I set it aside to dry
I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Crocodile: YG11 - G21
Trees: E41 - E43/ YG11 - G21
Kangooroos: E31 - E33
Platypus: E57 - E20/ E00 - E11
Koala: E2 - W3 - W5 - W7
Plane: B18 - B39/ B00/ R14 - R46
I die cut the images and assembled the card. I adhered the panel onto a piece of Beach Side paper.
I'm planning on giving this card later this year, to someone who is traveling to Australia for a year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (22)
For this birthday card I used the Fab Flowers stamp set and I used a fun technique to give the flowers some extra dimension.
I stamped all the flowers and leaves. The top layer I restamped every time with Versamark Ink, which I then heat embossed with Clear Gloss Embossing Powder from Wow. Th inks I used are all from Lawn Fawn. Here are the ink colors I used:
Purple flowers: Fresh Lavender Ink + Juice Box Ink
Yellow flowers: Butter Ink + Sunflower Ink
Blue flowers: Merman Ink + Fish Tank Ink
Leaves: Freshly Cut Grass Ink + Noble Fir Ink
I also stamped a banner, from Bannerstastic, in Bubblegum Ink.
I fussy cut the images. I then die cut the word happy, with the Scripy Happy die, from Cilantro carstock. I stamped the word birthday inside the banner.
I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Small Stithced Rectangle Stackables. I also die cut a piece of Watercolor Wishes paper, with the Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.
I assembled the card and finished off with some Nuvo Crystal Drops in the Bubblegum Blush color.
I really love that heat embossed layer on top of the flowers.

FRIEND, INSTEAD OF TEXTING, I MADE THIS CARD (1)
I was in the mood for some watercoloring. I used the Love Letters stamp set to create this friendship card.
I stamped the envelope several times onto watercolor paper and heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. I used Zig Color Real Brish markers to watercolor the background. Here are the colors I used:
Envelope: 091 - Light Grey
Hearts and background: 022 - Carmine Red
I die cut the panel with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables.
I stamped the two birds and watercolored them also.
Birds: 052 - Bright Yellow
Beaks: 070 - Orange
I die cut the word 'friend' three times, with the Words For Friends dies from MFT. I stacked them to create dimension. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Black Licorice cardstock. I trimmed it to a thins trip and adhered all the elements together.
I added the panel onto a piece of Watercolor Wishes paper and added glitter to the word friend, with the Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir.
I'm really happy with this watercolored look.

YOU'RE PLANE AWESOME (1)
I've been wanting to use the paper plane, from the Plane and Simple stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I combined it with one of the chicks from Chirpy Chirp Chirp.
I started with die cutting a piece of Mermaid cardstock with the Stitched Cloudy Backdrops: Landscape. I also die cut a Grassy Border from Cilantro cardstock. I decided to stamp the sentiment in Noble Fir Ink onto the grassy border. I adhered the grass onto the cloud background with foam tape.
I stamped the paper plane, clouds and chick and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Paper plane: R22 - R35
Chick: Y00 - Y02/ YR02
Clouds: C0 - C2
I added faces and rosey ckeeks (with Wild Rose Ink) to the clouds. I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the panel. I adhered the panel onto a Blue Jay cardbase.
Easy to create, perfect friendship card.

SMILE, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY (1)
The Up in the Air stamp set from My Favorite Things has more then just these great hot air balloons. There are those fun banners and birds, so I decided to highlight them on this card.
I started on the background, with Distress Inks and a blending tool. I used Abandonded Coral and Fossilized Amber. I added some water drops onto the panel and dabbed them off with a paper towel. I then die cut the word 'smile' with the Word For Friends die set from MFT. The piece of paper that is going behind this word, I blended with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink.
I stamped the banner with the little flags and the two birds. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Flags: YG41 - BG35
Birds: Y00 - Y02/ R22 - R35
I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and adhered them to the panel. I heat embossed the sentiment with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow (sentiment is from Jump For Joy, by Lawn Fawn) I added the panel onto a white cardbase and rounded off the two bottom corners.
I sometimes love to create clean and simple cards and I love soft pastel colors.

BEST FISHES (5)
Time to make a fun card with the Fintastic Friends stamp set again. I combined it with some imags from Mermaid For You.
I started on the background. I blended some Distress Inks onto a piece of watercolor paper. I used Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I want to create a panel, to make it look like you looking inside an aquarium. So is trimmed to smaller rectangles and embossed the sides with one of the Stitched Border dies.
I stamped the sentiment, using three Lawn Fawn Inks to create an hombre look. I used Minty Fresh Ink, Merman Ink and Fish Tank Ink. I adhered the white panels onto the blended bakcground and went over to my images.
I took the corals and sea weed from Mermaid For You and stamped them in Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Wild Rose Ink and Fresh Lavender Ink. The other images, from Fintastic Friends, I colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used.
Striped fish: BV000 - BV02/ Y00 - Y02
Orange fish: Y17 - YR16
Green fish: YG11 - G21
Red fish: R22 - R35
Pebbles: E41 - E43
I fussy cut the images and adhered them inside the 'aquarium'. I added the panel onto a Mermaid cardbase.

LATER GATOR (1)
I made a friendship card with the Jungle Friends dies, from My Favorite Things.
I think I underused the crocodiel die, so I decided to just use this one for the card. Plus the grass dies as well. I die cut the crocodile and the grass and applied Distress Inks onto the elements. I also die cut a rectangle with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX. Here are the colors I used (also for the background):
Crocodile: Mowed Lawn + Lucky Clover
Grass: Brushed Corduroy + Scattered Straw
Background: Peacock Feathers + Walnut Stain
I stamped the sentiment onto the panel and heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow (from the Wild For You set, by Lawn Fawn). I adhered the panel onto a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper, from Lawn Fawn, and added it to a Mermaid cardbase.
As a finishing touch, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops onto the card, with the color Apple Green.
A fun card to send a friend you want to plan a date with.

I'M STUCK ON YOU (2)
For this love card, I used the Stuck On You stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by trimming a piece of watercolor paper. I added some stitching detail to the top and bottom, with the Stitched Borders from Lawn Fawn. I then added some Fired Brick + Candied Apple Distress Inks onto a piece of accetate. I sprayed water on it and then I smooshed the ink onto the paper. I set the piece aside to dry.
I went over to the stamping. I stamped the flower pots and the plants. I used two colors for each item. Started with the lightest color and then added the darker one to the bottom of the stamp to create dimension. Here are the ink colors I used, all frmo Lawn Fawn:
Cacti: Freshly Cut Grass Ink + Noble Fir Ink
Pots: Carrot Ink + Pumpkin Spice Ink
Flower: Peachy Keen Ink + Plastic Flamingo Ink
I fussy cut the images. I added them to the panel and adhered the panel onto a piece of Beachside paper. I stamped the sentiment with Freshly Cut Grass Ink and Noble Fir Ink. The panel was adhered to a kraft cardbase.
A simple card, but I really like the dimensional look with the two ink colors on the stamped images.
