WISHING YOU A BEAUTIFUL DAY (5)

For this card, I combined a bunch of Lawn Fawn stamp sets. I used Bicycle Built For You, Toadally Awesome and Rub-a-Dub-Dub.

I started on die cutting and ink blending all the scene elements. I used the Grassy Border die, the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and the Meadow Borders dies. Here are the Distress Ink colors I used:
Sky: Salty Ocean
Grassy hill: Lucky Clover
Water: Mermaid Lagoon
Gras border: Twisted Citron

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bicycle: R14 - R46/ C0 - C2/ C3 - C5/ E57 - E29
Girl: E57 - E29/ E000 - E21/ B12 - B14
Frog: YG61 - YG63 - YG67/ Y00 - Y02
Lilly pads: YG07 -^G05
Lilly: RV10 - R83
Cat tails: YG61 - YG63 - YG67/ E57 - E29
Ducklings: Y00 - Y02/ YR21 - YR23
Dragonflies: BG15 - BG18/ YG41 - G02

I fussy cut some images and for some I have the coordinating dies, so I die cut them with my Cuttlebug. I assembled the card and stamped the sentiment. I added the panel onto a Chili Peper cardbase. As a finishing touch I added some highlights and dots to the images, with a white gelly roll pen.

Creating scenes like this is my absolute favorite thing!

For this birthday card, I used the Bicycle Built For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I was inspired by a crafter on Instagram: Sharna Waksmulski . Check out her account, she is really talented!

I started on the background. I wanted it ro be clean and simple. I just added a bit of water to the center and added Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to it with a paint brush. I dabbed off most of it, so it becomes even softer. The panel I later die cut with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colros I used:
Bicycle: R14 - R17 - R59/ E31 - E33/ C3 - C5
Hat: R14 - R17 - R59
Girl: E00 - E11
Hair: E57 - E29
Dress: W5 - W7
Shoes: R17 - R59
Cat: E31 - E33
Food: E41 - E43/ G05 - G28/ Y17 - YR15

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and also in Lobster Ink. I adhered the panel onto a Chili Pepper cardbase.

WISHING YOU A BEAUTIFUL DAY (1)

Someone asked me to make a card for a boy’s first communion. I don’t make them often, so this was a challenge. But I think I did a good job. I also entered this card into the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge.

For the background I wanted to create clouds. I die cut a cloud border with the Puffy Clouds Borders from Lawn Fawn. I used this as a mask. I took Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and applied it onto the paper coming off from the mask. This way the background is very subtle.

All the dies I used are from Lawn Fawn. I took the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Landscape and die cut the tree from brown cardstock. The leaf cluster and separate leaves I die cut from Noble Fir cardstock. I also used Noble Fir cardstock to die cut the grass, with the Meadow Borders die. The flowers were die cut from Sugraplum and Guava cardstock. Last I die cut the sun, with the Sun and Moon die, from Fake Tan and Sunflower cardstock.

I stamped the images. The boy and the ballons are from the Bicycle Built For You stamp set. The rock is from Mermaid For You. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E00 – E11
Hair: E57 – E29
Sweater + shoes: C2 – C5
Pants: R14 – R46
Balloons: YR04 – YR07/ Y17 – Y38/ R14 – R46
Basket: E57 – E29
Rock: W0 – W2

I die cut the images and started assembling the card. I stamped the sentiment in Manatee Ink and added the panel to a Fake Tan cardbase.

For this birthday card I created a lovely scene with the Bicycle Built For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped the bicycle, the boy, the girl and the food that I’m going to add to the basket later. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E00 – E11
Hair girl: E57 – E29
Hair boy: E41 – E43
Dress + shoes girl: R22 – R35
Shirt + shoes boy: YG41 – G02
Pants boy: BG93 – B95
Bicycle: C0 – C2/ C5/ B00
Cheese: Y11 – Y02
Wine: R29 – R59/ E25
Bread: E31 – E43

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and went over to my scene. I took watercolor cardstock for the background, I wanted a blended sky. I used Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks and applied them onto the cardstock with a blending tool.

I die cut two green hills, with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I stamped the sentiment onto the smallest hill. I also die cut the trees with the Stitched Tree Borders and some clouds with the Simple Puffy Clouds dies. All the dies are from Lawn Fawn.

I assembled all the elements and adhered everything to a kraft colored cardbase. I really love this stamp set, I will be using it a lot more!
