HAVE A WILD BIRTHDAY (2)
I wanted to make a peek-a-boo card with the Wild For You stamp set and Lift the Flap dies from Lawn Fawn.
I started by creating the peek-a-boo element of the card. I die cut a piece of kraft cardstock with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I took the smalles die from the Lift the Flap die set and die cut it three times. I’m going to hide three of the animals behind those flaps.
I took a piece of watercolor cardstock and traced the peek-a-boo windows onto it. This way I know where each window is. I blended Distress Inks onto this paper, so each window shows a different colors I used three colors from left to right: Squeezed Lemonade, Candied Apple and Mermaid Lagoon.
I stamped the lion, big elephant and giraffe image and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Lion: E41 – E43/ E57 – E29
Elephant: W0 – W2
Giraffe: Y21 – YR15/ E57 – E29/ E00 – E11
Crown: Y21 – YR15
Striped party hat: BG01 – BV05/ Y21 – YR15
Polka dot party hat: BG01 – BV05/ R14 – R17
I stamped the sentiment, adhered the animals behind the windows, added the blended background to it and adhered the panel onto a piece of Guava cardstock.
I predict that the Wild For You stamp set is a set I will you very often this year.

THANKS YOU'RE ONE OF A KIND (3)
For this thank you card, I used the Bold Blossom stamp set from Altenew. I also used a bunch of products from other companies.
I stamped the flower and leaves (all twice) with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. I colored the images with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Flowers: 22 – Carmine Red
I fussy cut all the images and set them aside. I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX from My Favorite Things and took the Polka Dot stencil, also from MFT. I taped the stencil over the die cut rectangle and applied Bundled Sage Distress Ink onto the panel through the stencil. I used a light hand mostly, but in some places a pressed a bit harder.
I die cut the word thanks, with the Thanks Word die from Paper Smooches. I used Black Licorice cardstock. I heat embossed the word with Clear Gloss Embossing Powder from Wow. I also stamped a sentiment and heat embossed it with Pearl Gold Sparkle Embossing Powder from Wow.
I assembled the card and added it to a piece of Watercolor Wishes paper. I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the panel with the color Red Berry.
A more classic thank you card.

AHOY, MATEY YOU ARRRRGH AWESOME (1)

I started by die cutting and blending all the elements to create the scene. I die cut some watercolor paper with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I also die cut two panels with the Stitched Hillside Borders. One of those borders is going to be my beach and the other the ocean.
I used Distress Inks and an ink blending tool to blend some color on all of the scene elements. For the sky I used Peacock Feathers, for the ocean Mermaid Lagoon and for the beach Vintage Photo.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Treasure chest: E57 – E29/ Y21 – YR15
Coins: Y02 – Y08
Skin: E00 – E11
Dress + pants: YG11 – G21
Bandana + cloth + shirt + shoe: Y00 – Y02
Dots bandana + pirate’s hat + vest + shoes: W5 – W7
Hair boy: E41 – E43
Hair girl: E57 – E29
Skull: W0
Pirate’s ship: E41 – E43/ W0 – W2
Parrot + flag: R22 – R35/ YR15
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I die cut a wave with the Ocean Waves Accents, to put the ship in. I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel onto a piece of Watercolor Wishes paper. The cardbase is from white cardstock.

IT'S A SPECIAL DAY (1)
Sometimes you get a brilliant idea, for no reason. Well, that’s what happened with this card. It just came to me and I love the result. I made this birthday card with the Wild For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I took some Blue Jay cardstock and created a cardbase. I took the Starry Sky Vertical stencil from My Favorite Things and put it on top of the front of the cardbase. I taped the stencil down with washi tape. I wanted to use Shimmer Paste from Nuvo, to make sparkly stars. I used the color Silver Gem.
Tip: clean off the shimmer paste immediately after using it, because it dries very quick and it’s a big mess.
I set the cardbase aside and went over to my images. I stamped the mouse and the small elephant and colored them with Copic Markers. Really simple coloring. Here are the colors I used:
Mouse: W0 – W2
Elephant: W0 – W2 – W5
I fussy cut the images. I die cut a moon, with the Sun and Moon dies, from Sunflower cardstock. I also die cut two cloud borders, with the Puffy Cloud Borders.
I wanted a banner for the sentiment. The banner is from Bannertastic. The inside of the banner was stamped with Ballet Slippers Ink and Bubblegum Ink. I also added a star to the banner on each side of the sentiment. The sentiment and the star are both from the Out of This World stamp set. I fussy cut the banner and started assembling the card.
As a finishing touch, I added some glitter to the moon, with the Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir. I also rounded off both bottom corners.
Sparkly!!! This card can be used for any special day, whether it’s a birthday, graduation, promotion, first communion.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY (1)
I made this Father’s Day card with the new Plane and Simple stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started with the background. I die cut a piece of watercolor paper with the Stitched Cloudy Backdrop: Landscape die. I used some Distress Inks to watercolor onto the background. I wetted the paper, and applied Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink onto the paper. I let it air dry.
I stamped the two airplanes, the banner and the little hearts. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Planes: Y00 – Y02/ R22 – R35/ YG41 – G02
Hearts: R22 – R35
Banner: W0 – W2
I fussy cut the images. I also die cut some clouds with the Puffy Cloud Borders. I stamped the sentiment onto the cloud border, with Merman Ink.
I assembled the card and added the panel onto a piece of Guava cardstock.
I think I’m going to give this to my dad on Father’s Day.

CUTE AS A BUTTON (1)
For this love card, I used the Sewn with Love stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock, with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I traced a circle on the panel with a pencil, this is going to be my guideline. I stamped the thimble, button and spool repeatedly onto that penciled circle. When the ink dried, I erased the pencil line and colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Spool: E41 – E31/ YR00 – YR02
Purple buttons: BV000 – BV02
Red buttons: R22 – R35
Thimble: C2 – C5
I also stamped the scissors, that I colored with Copic Markers as well. I used:
Scissors: C2 – C5/ YR00 – YR02
The word cute I stamped in Fresh Lavender Ink and I die cut this and the scissors with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the card and also stameped the rest of the sentiment onto it, with Wild Flower Ink.
I added some Nuco Crystal Drops to the panel. I used three colors: Bubblegum Blush, Sweet Lilac and Red Berry.
I adhered the panel to a piece of Perfectly Plaid paper and added the panel onto a white cardbase.
It turned out exactly how I wanted it!

YOU ARE JAWSOME (1)
With the mini set Duh-Nuh from Lawn Fawn, I created this underwater themed friendship card.
I started by die cutting some watercolor paper with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I’m using them as water and waves this time. I got four pieces and I blended all of them with a different Distress Ink color. From top to bottom I used: Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I added water to all the pieces and dabbed the drops off with a paper towel.
I stamped the sentiment onto the bottom wave and die cut some waves from one of the pieces, with the Ocean Wave Accents dies.
I stamped the shark, the fish twice and the cluster of bubbles twice. I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Shark: C2 – C5/ C0
Fish: Y17 – YR68
Bubbles: B00 – BG000
I assembled the card and finished off with some Nuvo Crystal Drops. I used the color Emerald City.
Don’t you just love that sentiment! A real fun underwater scene.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (19)
I wanted to create a birthday card with a hidden gift card. I used one of Lawn Fawn’s newest sets: Ahoy, Matey. And man, this is a fun set to work with. For the gift card, I used the new Lift the Flap die set.
For the front of the card, I started with the die cutting of all the scene elements. I die cut hills and water with the Stitched Hillside Borders. For the background I used Lawn Fawn’s new background die: Stitched Cloudy Backdrop: Landscape. I used watercolor paper for all the die cutting.
To add color to all the scene elements, I used Distress Inks and a blending tool. For the sky I used Peacock Feathers, for the hills I used Antique Linen and Scattered Straw, for the water I used Mermaid Lagoon. I stamped the sentiment onto the water piece and heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. To add a distressed look, I drops some water onto the pieces and dabbed the droplet of with a paper towel.
I stamped the images (the fish is from Fintastic Friends) and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E00 – E11
Hair boy: E57 – E29
Pirate hat: W5 – W7
Skull: W0
Vest + shoes + bandana + cloth around girl’s waist: R14 – R17
Dress + pants: B18 – B39
Hair girl + peg leg: E41 – E43
Dots bandana + shirt boy: W0 – W2
Treasure chest: E57 – E29/ Y21 – Y17
Coins: Y02 – Y08
Fish: YR15 – YR68
Parrot: YG11 – G21/ YR15
Map: W0 – W2
I fussy cut the images. For the water border, I decided to add a bit more detail. I took the new Ocean Wave Accents dies, from Lawn Fawn, ad die cut some wavy lines into the ocean water. I then assembled the card.
For the inside of the card, I die cut a piece of watercolor cardstock with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I used Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress Ink to give it some color. I stamped the mountains and the compass with Doe Ink. The X I stamped in Lobster Ink. I die cut the largest flap, from Lift the Flap, to create a hiding spot for my gift card. I adhered the piece on the inside of the card and used a little piece of double sided adhesive to adhere the gift card. The cardbase I used is from Peacock cardstock.
What a super fun set to craft with and what a great way to add a gift card to your creation!

Yay, the new Lawn Fawn release is online and I just got my order in. Here is what I picked up:
The Stitched Cloudy Backdrop: Landscape is an expensive die, but one I know I'm going to use very often. It's such a great die, that can be used for so many different scenes.
That background die is perfect in combination with the Plane and Simple stamp set. I didn't have anything like this yet, so I wanted it in my stash. This set is great for more masculine cards and cards for boys.
There was one stamp set that I immediately needed when I first saw it. And that's the Wild For You stamp set. I just love those animals and it's been a while since we've had an all critter set. I already have a lot of ideas with these cute stamps.
Ahoy, Matey is another original set. Such cute pirates and additional images. Great to create a treasure map or a fun beach scene. I can't wait to craft with these stamps.
The Lift the Flap die set is fun for so many things. You can hide an image or sentiment on or inside the card, but it's also the perfect hiding place for a gift card. Loving it!
This mini set, called Duh-nuh, is just super cute. Who tought a shark could be this cute. I can combine it with Ahoy, Matey, but also with some other water themed sets I have, like Mermaid For You and Fintastic Friends. And I just love those sentiments!
And to finish off that water theme, I also got the Ocean Wave Accents. When you die cut with these, you can slide in an element to make it look like it's in the water.
I can't wait to craft with all these great goodies. Happy Crafting everyone!!!

SENDING BIRTHDAY BEAR HUGS (1)
I used the Beary Special Birthday for a birthday card. What a surprise!
I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I also die cut a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper with this die. All from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped one of the bear images and the balloon cluster three times. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bear: E00 – E11/ E57 – E29/ E04
Cake: W0/ RV13 – RV23/ W5
Candles: Y02/ YR16
Red balloon: R14 – R17
Orange balloon: YT07 – YR16
Green balloon: G14 – G05
Blue balloon: B00 – BG01
Yellow balloon: Y02 – Y06
Purple balloon: BV000 – BV02
Pink balloon: RV13 – RV23
I fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel onto a Mermaid cardbase.
Super cute, the perfect card for a cheerful birthday party!!!
