DIM SUM-BODY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY? (1)

The Year Thirteen stamp set from Lawn Fawn is this dim dum mini stamp, with the best punny sentiment. I created a birthday card with it.

For the background, I used Dried Marigold and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks. I added little water droplets to it, which I dried with a paper towel. For the 'ground' I used a strip of Kraft cardstock.

I die cut the barrel from the Build-a-Barrel: Apple die set. I used this as the steam basket for the dim sum. I colored this with Copic colors E31 - E33 - E35

I stamped the images and colored them with the following Copic Markers:

Dim sum: R000 - R01

Chop sticks: E31 - E33 - E35

Banners: YR15 - YR04 - YR68/ R22 - R35

I die cut the images. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn, before adhering everything to the background. I added a highlight to the the steam basket and also to the banners.

GIFT TAGS (6)

I created some thank you tags, using the Build-a-Barrel: Apple die set and the SCalloped Circle Gift Tag die set from Lawn Fawn.

I used a piece of Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow paper to die cut the base of the tag.

The apples were die cut from Chili Pepper cardstock. The leaves and stems from Cilantro, Noble Fir and Paperbag cardstocks. I also used Chili Pepper for the little label.

I stamped and heat embossed the word 'thanks' onto the label and assembled the tags. I used some red and white twine and tied them in a bow at the top of the tags.

THANK YOU (9)

I made this thank you card, using the Build-a-Barrel: Apple die set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background, I did some simple ink blending, using Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Spiced Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink.

For the bottom, I used a strip of Perfectly Plaid Fall paper.

I die cut the barrel from Paperbag and Ground Coffee cardstock. The apples I ink blended with Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany Oxide Ink. For the leaves I used Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover. The stems I blended with Tattered Rose and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks.

I die cut a piece of Ground Coffee cardstock with the Stitched Woodgrain backdrop. From that piece I die cut the Giant Thank You die.

I assembled the card and added highlights to the apples.
