SQUEEZE THE DAY (1)

Today I created this summer-vibes card, using the Zesty Lemon die set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background, I used a piece of Flower Market pattern paper.

I die cut the lemon elements, using only three colors: Sticky Note, Cilantro and white cardstock. I ink blended the lemons with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink and the leaves with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

I also die cut some letters, with Henry's ABCs dies. I used Sticky Note and white cardstock for this as well. The last part of the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed onto a strip of Cilantro cardstock.

I assembled the card. As a finishing touch I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in the Dandelion Yellow color to the center of the flowers.

For the background I used Flower Market paper. I trimmed a strip of Woodgrain cardstock to create wooden floor.

With the Large Mini Slimline Stackables I die cut a window for the row of cats to fit in. I ink blended with Salty Ocean to go behind this window. You're not going to see much of it though, but I didn't want to leave it empty.

COZY CHRISTMAS (1)

I normally start my Christmas card in September/ October, but since the Lawn Fawnatics theme is Christmas in July, I got an early start. I used the Stitched Teapot die and Stitched Teacup die for this cozy card.

For the background I used a cardbase from Mermaid cardstock. I ink blended with Broken China and Prize Ribbon Oxide Inks, using the Snowflake Background Stencils.

I die cut the teapot and teacup, using the following carsdtocks: Chili Pepper, Blue Jay and Vanilla Malt. For the tea and tea bag I used Paper Bag and also Chili Pepper for the heart. The string is Black Licorice, the spoon Narwhal and the sugar cubes Sparkle cardstock.

I adhered everything onto the stenciled background. I die cut the word cozy from Chili Pepper cardstock, using Henry's ABCs. The rest of the sentiment was stamped and heat embossing onto a strip of Blue Jay cardstock.

It felt kind of out of place creating a Christmas card in July, but I like the result.

For the background I used a piece of cardstock die cut with the Large Mini Slimeline Stackables. I ink blended a sky using Tumbled Glass and Prize Ribbon Oxide Inks. For the snow, I used Sparkle cardstock.

I stamped the images. I also used images from Open Me. Here are all the Copic Markers I used for coloring:

IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY, HAVE A BALL! (1)

I created a sports-themed card, with the All-Star stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I did some stenciling. I used the Lots of Stars Background stencils and three Distress Oxide Inks: Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber and Prize Ribbon. The cardbase is Vanilla Malt cardstock by the way.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here's a list:
Basketball + football: E33 - #5
Net: W0 - W3/ W5 - W7/ R46 - R59
Cup: YR21 - YR23/ R46 - R59
Star; B24 - B26
Baseball: E41 - E43 - E44 (+ Lobster Ink)
Baseball bat: E41 - E43 - E44/ R46 - R59/ B24 - B26
Soccer ball: W0 - W3

I di cut the images and assembled the card. Because I didn't want the images to disappear in the background, I added a Zig Zag Circle from vellum behind the images. I added white highlights with a gel pen to the images.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto strips of Blue Jay cardstock.

YOU'RE TEA-RIFFIC (1)

For this tea-themed card, I used the Stitched Teapot and Stitched Teacup die sets from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used the Itsu Bitsy Polka Dot Background. I die cut it from Vanilla Malt cardtock. Behind it I layered a piece of Sugarplum cardstock.

For the teapot and teacup elements I used Watercolor Wishes Rainbow pattern paper and Ballet Slippers cardstock. The pink pieces were also ink blended with Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink. For the lemons (from the Zesty Lemon die set) I used Sunflower and No. 2 Pencil cardstock, and the leaves were die cut from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended these leaves with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. Other cardstocks I used on this card are Kraft, Paperbag, White and Black Licorice.

I assembled all the elements and added them to my polka dot background. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock, using Grape Soda Ink from Lawn Fawn.

I love this card so much!
