SENDING HUGS (5)

Happy birthday to Lawn Fawn!!! We are celebrating this challenge with all things birthdays over at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog I created this simple small card, with the Valentine Mice stamp set.

I die cut some Vanilla Malt cardstock with the Postage Rectanlge Stackables. I masked it off with the coordinating stencil and ink blended with Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Inks.

I die cut another Postage Rectable Stackables in the same size, from Blissful Blossom paper, to add to the back of this mini card.

I stamped the image and colored with Copic Markers:
Mouse: W3 - W5 - W7/ E11 - E04
Envelope: Rv 32 - RV34/ V22 - V25 - V17

I die cut the images and assembled the mini card. I used a white gel pen for the dots and highlights and stamped the sentiments with Sugarplum Ink.

HAVE A HAPPY DAY (3)

I'm on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog today for the challenge Inspired by a Book, Movie, Song or Show. I used the movie (or books) "Paddington". I'm going to see the musical in London, in April, so I think this is perfect. I used Beary Rainy Day, Dad + Me, Berry Special, Capybaras and Let's Toasts, but also the Postage Rectangle Stackables die set.

For the background I die cut a piece of Sticky Note cardstock with one of the Postage Rectables Stackables. I stamped the sandwich onto the background with No. 2 Pencil Ink, making it look like marmalade sandwiches.

I die cut another postage rectangle from pattern paper from the Sweater Weather Remix paper pad. I layered another of these pattern papers over it, cutting of the edges.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:
Paddington: E57 - E29/ B24 - B26/ R17 - R59/ Y17 - Y23
Marmalade: Y17 - Y23/ YR04 - YR07
Umbrella: Y17 - Y23
Oranges: YR04 - YR07/ G43 - G46

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Lobster ink and layered the whole background onto a Chili Pepper cardbase.

XOXO (4)

I'm on the Lawn Fawn Blog today with this Valentine's Day card, using the Valentine Mice stamp set.

For the background I wanted to use the Checkered Heart Backdrop: Landscape die. I love checker patterns so much! I die cut it from Vanilla Malt cardstock. I layered some Ballet Slippers cardstock behind it, so you can see it through the hearts.

I used Vanilla Malt cardstock again for the Postage Rectangle Stackables dies. I wanted to ink blended the inside, leaving the border blank. I masked it with the Postage Rectangle Stackables stencils. I used Distress Oxide Ink colors Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. I added some water drops to it and dabbed them off with a paper towel.

I die cut the Giant XOXO from Ballet Slippers cardstock.

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic Markers:
Mice: W0 - W3 - W5/ E41 - E43 - E44/ E04 - E11
Envelope: C0 - C3/ RV10 - R83
Heart: RV10 - R83

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I decided to add the little "mwah" with the hearts as well. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights and dots to the images and the Giant XOXO.

I'm super happy with the result.

I'M LUCKY TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE YOU (2)

Today is the start of a fun, new theme at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog : Lots of Hearts. I used the Little Envelope Die and the Tiny Gift Box Elephant Add-On die.

For the background I die cut a piece of Speckled Eggshell cardstock with the new Postage Rectangle Stackables dies. I used the coordinating stencil to mask off the outer lines. I ink blended the Candy Hearts Stencils onto it. I used a bunch of Distress Oxide Inks: Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Cracked Pistachio, Shaded Lilac and Festive Berries.

I then die the elephant from Narwhal cardstock and added the inside of his ears with Ballet Slippers. The Envelope and letter were both die cut from Speckled Eggshell and the heart from Raspberry cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment and typed heart onto the letter, using the Love Poems and You're Just My Type stamp sets. I used Lawn Fawn inks for this: Merman, Grape Soda and Bubblegum inks.

I assembled everything and added it all to the stenciled background. I used Raspberry cardstock for the cardbase and added highlights to the images.
