IT'S PENGUINING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS (4)

I created a Christmas card with the Cool Penguins stamp set from Mama Elephant. 

For the background, I used some Kraft cardstock. I ink blended with Yeti Ink and used the Snowflake Trio Stencil from Lawn Fawn.

For the hill I used Sparkle cardstock and the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders die set. I also added gold splatter to the background.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: 

Penguins: W3 - W5 - W7/ Y08 - Y17

Presents: R14 - R27/ G43 - G46/ E31 - E35/ E25 - E29

Wrapping paper station: R14 - R27/ G43 - G46/ E31 - E35/ E25 - E29/ C0 - C3

Ribbons: R14 - R27/ G43 - G46/ E31 - E35

Scissors: C0 - C3

Envelope: G43 - G46

Antlers: E31 - E35

Hat + scarf: R14 - R27

I fussy cut the images, stamped the sentiment and added highlights with a white gelly roll pen.

A whole different look with this stamp set I've had for a while.

For this storybook style Christmas card, I used the Cool Penguins stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I die cut the Peekaboo Backdrop: Landscape die from Speckled Eggshell cardstock. For the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks for blending. The two top frames were ink blended with Cracked Pistachio Oxide Ink and the two bottom ones with Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Penguins: W3 - W5 - W7/ W0 - 0/ YR21
Hats + scarfs: R22 - R35/ YR21 - Y38/ YG11 - YG13/ RV10 - R83
Presents: R22 - R35/ YR21 - Y38/ YG11 - YG13/ YG41 - BG23/ RV10 - R83/ V01 - V12
Wrapping papers: R22 - R35/ YR21 - Y38/ YG11 - YG13/ YG41 - BG23/ RV10 - R83/ E71 - E74 - E79
Envelopes: YG11 - YG13/ V01 - V12
Antlers: E41 - E43
Ribbons: YR21 - Y38/ V01 - V12/ E71 - E74 - E79/ E53 - E55

I love using non-traditional Christmas colors on thes type of cards.

For this cool Christmas card, I used the Cool Penguins stamp set and the Kingdom Trio die set from Mama Elephant.

For the background, I used two Distress Oxide Inks: Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. I added some water drops to it and dabbed them off with a paper towel.

I took the mountain die from the Kingdom Trio die set and die cut it from Narwhal carstock. To create the look of snowy tops, I added some Yeti Ink to the die cut. I also die cut the ground, from white cardstock.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Penguins: W5 - W7/ W0 - W3 - 0/ Y38/ R29 - R59
Presents: R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ B12 - B14/ YR21 - Y38/ RV10 - R83/ G05 - G14
Gift wrapping station: E31 - E35/ R29 - R59/ YG11 - YG13/ B12 - B14/ YR21 - Y38/ RV10 - R83/ G05 - G14
Scissors: YR21 - Y38

I fussy cut the images and assembled my card. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, using white embossing powder from Ranger.

I just love working with these images, they are so much fun to color!

I just love these penguin images in the new Cool Penguins stamp set from Mama Elephant. An all those cool gift wrapping images too. Perfect for creating scenes.

I started by adding some watercolored stripes to the background. I used two Distress Ink colors: Pine Needles and Fired Brick.

I stamped a lot of the images from the set and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Penguins: W5 - W7/ W0 - W2 - 0/ Y38
Presents: R29 - R59/ G05 - G28/ B12 - B14/ RV10 - R83/ YR21 - Y38

Ribbon: G05 - G28/ RV10 - R83/ E31 - E35

I fussy cut the images and added them to my panel. I stamped the sentiment and added the panel to a cardbase.

I loved coloring these images. I this is one of my favorite color pallettes of the moment, for Christmas cards.
