I THINK YOU'RE SUPER DUPER (3)

I just love this sentiment! And this stamp set, Tiny Heroes from Mama Elephant.

I started with the little hero. I stamped him on some white cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hair: E25 - E29 - E35
Skin: E00 - E11
Costume: R29 - R59/ BV05 - B05 - B28

I die cut the image with my Cuttlebug and placed it onto the card without adhering it. This way I could see how to stamp the background. I stamped the sentiment in Soot Ink from Lawn Fawn and also stamped the shield image with Lobster Ink from Lawn Fawn. I added some silver stars to the shields and the background and also used som smaller silver sequins. I adhered the tiny hero with foam tape and put the panel on a white card base.

I rounded off the bottom left corner with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper and added some Wink of Stella glitter to the hero's costume.

A simple card, but I love it.

I THINK YOU'RE SUPER DUPER (2)

For the Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge the theme was Ray of Sunshine. The idea came to me pretty quickly.

I started with the Circle Burst stencil from My Favorite Things and blended four Distress Ink colors to the background. I started from the bottom with Mustard Seed, then Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and a little bit of Fired Brick towards the bottom.

I set the background aside and stamped the image. I choose the flying superhero girl from the Tiny Heroes stamp set from Mama Elephant. I colored the image with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E00 – E11 – E21
Hair: W2 – W5 – W7 – BV29
Mask + gloves + cape + shoes: R29 – R59 – R46
Dress: Y02 – Y08 – Y17

I die cut the image and adhered it to the background with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. To finish it off, I rounded the top right corner with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also added some Wink of Stella to the hair, gloves, belt and boots.

This card didn’t really take a lot of time, but I really love the look of it.

I THINK YOU'RE SUPER DUPER (1)

I’m in love with this Mama Elephant stamp set called Tiny Heroes. I always liked super heroes, but these little ones are super cute.

I used the flying girl and stamped it onto some white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E00 – E11 – E21
Cheeks: R22
Hair: W2 – W5 – W7 – BV29
Mask + cape + mask + gloves + bow: V04 + V08
Dress: Yo2 – Y06 – Yo8 – Y17

I die cut the image with my Cuttlebug. I then went over to the background. I used two different Distress Inks on Tim Holtz water color cardstock. I started with Wild Honey and later blended Seedless Preserves with it. Two very different colors, but with the mini ink blending tool and the right paper they blend just fine.

I die cut a circle from some white cardstock, with the Double Stitched Circle STAX from My Favorite Things. Then I put the blended background behind it so it peaks through the die cut circle.

I stamped the sentiment with Juice Box Ink from Lawn Fawn and also stamped the star with Juice Box Ink and Fresh Lavender Ink from Lawn Fawn several times. I added some dots with my silver Uni-ball gel pen and a dash line with a Sakura Black Micron pen.

When the panel was done, I adhered the little super hero girl with some foam squares. I added some Wink of Stella to the mask, cape and shoes. I rounded off the two right corners with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also did it to the purple card base, after I adhered the front panel to it.

This is a cute set and it’s almost impossible not to make any adorable cards with them.
