YOU'RE THE COOLEST (1)

Today I created a simple ice cream scene, using the Treat Cart stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used Moonstone cardstock. I ink blended clouds with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I also die cut the Grassy Border from Cilantro cardstock, which was blended with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. I added splatters to the sky background, using Faded Jean Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Fox: E31 - E33 - E35/ E00 - E11

Bear: E57 - E29

Bunny: W0 - W3 - W5/ E11 - E04

Cart: C0 - C3/ C5 - C7/ Y21 - YR23/ R32 - R35/ BG11 - BG13

Ice cream: C0 - C3/ E31 - E35/ E57 - E29/ BG11 - BG13/ Y21 - YR23/ R32 - R35

Fudge: C5 - C7/ BG11 - BG13

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I added highlights to the images.

I also die one of the Stitched Sentiment Banners from No. 2 Pencil and stamped the sentiment onto it. I added it to the scene with foam tape.

LIFE'S A PICNIC WITH YOU (3)

I'm on the Lawn Fawn today, with this picnic scene. I used the Whoosh, Kites! stamp set and Crazy Antics stamp set together.

For the sky, I sued Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink. I die cut a Grassy Border and Grassy Hillside Border from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended the edges of the grass blades with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Mice: E41 - E43 - E44/ W0 - W3/ E00 - E11

Blanket: BG53 - BG57/ YG00 - YG03

Kite: C0 - C3/ BG53 - BG57/ YG00 - YG03/ R05 - R46/ Y15 - Y16/ B26 - B37

Can: YG00 - YG03 - Y15 - Y17/ C0 - C3

Chips: B26 - B37/ R05 - R46

Cheese + flowers: Y15 - Y17

Melon: R05 - R46/ G24 - G28/ C5 - C7

Butterfly: YG00 - YG03

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped an heat embossed the sentiment, using white embossing powder. I used a white gel pen to add highlights.

HAPPY ICE-CREAM DAY (YES IT'S A REAL DAY) (1)

It's Summer!!!! And Summer is all over the Lawn Fawnatics Blog with the Summertime Fun challenge that's starting today. I created this beach scene with the Treat Cart stamp set and On the Beach stamp set.

For the scene, I used the Large Slimline with Sliders die set and Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders die set. I ink blended clouds to the sky, using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. For the sand I used Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs. Here I also added splatter with white and dark brown watercolors. For the ocean I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I added water drops and dabbed them off with a cloth.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Ice cream: E53 - E55/ E29 - E57/ Y15 - Y17/ R22 - R01/ YG00 - YG03/ BG53 - BG57/ V22 - V25/ Y38 - YR68

Sun block: Y15 - Y17/ BG53 - BG57/ Y38 - YR68

Sign: E29 - E75/ C5 - C7/ E53 - E55

I die cut or fussy cut the images. For the little sign, I wanted it to look like a chalk board. I heat embossed the menu onto it with white embossing powder.

I assembled the card, stamped teh sentiment and added highlights with a white gel pen.

YOU DESERT THE BEST (2)

For today, I made this desert scene, with all the amazing animals from the Critters from the Desert stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I used the Desert Canyon Backdrop for the first time. I die cut it from Paper Bag cardstock. I used Gathered Twigs and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks for blending. I also added some splatter to the bottomt of the scene. For the succulents I used Cilantro cardstock and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

I used Speckled Egg and Faded jeans Distress Oxide Ink for the sky.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers:

Cacti: YG00 - YG03/ E53 - E57/ Y17 - YR16

Rocks: W0 - W3 - W5

Fennec fox: E31 - E33 - E35/ E00 - E11/ C7

Tortoise: E18 - E15/ BG93 - BG96/ G43 - G46

Roadrunner: E41 - E43 - E44/ YR21 - YR23

Scorpion: C5 - C7

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added white highlights with a gel pen.

HAVE A GRAPE BIRTHDAY (1)

For this simple birthday card, I used Lawn Fawn's newest celebration mini set: Year Fourteen. And it celebrates their 14th birthday!

For the background I used a piece of pattern paper from the Fruit Salad paperpad. I added a frame die from Vanilla Malt cardstock, using the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die set.

I stamped the grape image and colored it with Copic Markers:

Grapes: B41 - B45/ BG93 - BG96

I die cut the image and assembled the card. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto Sage Leaf cardstock and trimmed it to two thin strips. I used white heat embossing powder from Lawn Fawn.

As a finishing touch, I added white highlights to the grapes, using a gel pen.

BUZZIN' BY TO SAY HAVE A BEE-UTIFUL DAY (3)

I created this bee themed birthday card, using the You're a Keeper stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I also used Hive Five and Treat Cart.

For the background, I used a cloud stencil and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink. I added a Grassy Border to the bottomt, which was die cut from Cilantro cardstock. I ink blended the grass with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here is a list of all the colors:

Suit: C0 - C3

Cart: C0 - C3/ C5 - C7/ YR21 - YR23/ Y06 - Y15/ R46 - R59/ R01 - R22

I die cut and fussy cut all the images. I assembled the card and stamped the sentiment in Cranberry ink. I used a white gel pen to add highlighst and dots. I also stamped the swirly lines behind each bee, using Manatee Ink.

BE CREATIVE (4)

Today, I'm on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog with this artsy card.

I used Vanilla Malt cardstock and wanted to use the Paint Splatter Background stencil. I used a bunch of Distress Oxide Inks for blending: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple, Shaded Lilac, Villainous Potion, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Cracked Pistachio.

I die cut all the elements I wanted to use and colored them with Copic Markers:

Pallet: E53 - E55 - E57/ R05 - R46/ YG13 - YG09/ RV32 - RV34/ V22 - V25

Brushes: E53 - E55 - E57/ E57 - E29/ C- - C3 - C5

Splatters: Y15 - Y17/ B21 - B24 - B26/ RV32 - RV34/ V22 - V25

Tubes: C0 - C3/ Y15 - Y17/ R05 - R46

I assembled the card, stamped the sentiment and added highlights to the die cut elements.

YOU'RE AN ALL-STAR (2)

Today is the start of a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and it's all about stencils.

For the base, I used Sticky Note cardstock. I wanted to make a starry background. I used the Lots of Stars Background Stencils and two Distress Oxide Inks: Prized Ribbon and Candied Apple.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are all the colors I used:

Bat: E41 - E43/ R05 - R46

Stars: Y15 - Y17

Cup" C0 - C3

Basketball: E15 - E18

Basket: C0 - C3/ E15 - E18/ R05 - R46/ E57 - R29

Football: E15 - E18/ E57 - E29/ C0 - C3

I stamped the stitched lines onto the baseball with Lobster Ink.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of Blue Jay cardstock. I assembled the card and added the sentiment strip. I used a white gel pen for highlights.

TREAT YOURSELF (4)

I used the new Build-a-Gumball Machine die set from Lawn Fawn, for this colorful, fun card.

For the background I used Ballet Slippers cardstock. I ink blended banners using the new Buntin Background Stencils. I used several Distress Oxide Inks: Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Black Soot.

I added a strip of All the Dots pattern paper to the bottom.

I die cut all the elements and colored them with Copic Markers:

Gumball machin: Y15 - Y17/ RV32 - RV34/ B34 - B37/ C5 - C7/ C0 - C3

Coin: C0 - C3

Gumballs: Y15 - Y17/ RV32 - RV34/ B34 - B37/ BG11 - BG13

I assembled the card and used a white gel pen to add highlights. I used the Treat Cart Sentiment Add-On for the sentiment.

HAVE THE COOLEST FATHER'S DAY (1)

The new Treat Cart stamp set from Lawn Fawn, is the perfect one for Summer. I decided to create a Father's Day card with the cute cart and critters.

For the background, I used a cloud stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I die cut the Grassy Border from Cilantro cardstock and blended the grass blades with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.
